Question: Would martial law and curfews be GOOD for sales????

Since everyone would have to be inside by a certain time, given that porn was still allowed online... Would that be good for adult related internet sales? Insight please! :thumbsup

It would be either great for porn or great for television, methinks.

Might be good at the very beginning. Then people would start to worry about their income and signups would drop I suspect. Martial Law and Curfews generally are not good for economy.

I was thinking just the reverse. At first it would be great. But then as businesses that rely on after dark sales, as part of their day, start ti suffer, they would have to start to lay people off. And then people would worry about their jobs, and money.

you are an idiot
if you were under martial law and curfew their probably wouldn't be any electrcity or internet.
when that hurricane hit New Orleans do you really think those people were thinking about porn?

Martial law AKA a military dictatorship exits in many countries, and has nothing to do with natural disasters!

Any local Mardi Gras Celebrations?

Any one out there live in cities with nice local mardi gras celebrations? A city close by called St. joseph, MO (www.saintjoseph.com) has a 1 day celebration complete with parade, the works. The city is about 80,000 people and yet the celebration draws 25,000 people downtown.. Pretty wild! :thumbsup

As long as surfers are allowed to go to the office we are ok. If that ever changes then we will have problems.

Ask some oldtimers in the Philippines that lived through the Marcos Martial Law years if they read more hustler, playboy or uncensored Pinoy comics back in those days. LOL

DjSap 11-10-2006 04:37 PM

in the short term yes...but with the free time they would discover torrent sites, when people are busy they want efficiency in their porn hunt...

If martial law existed, possible lack of electricity and credit card processing and other considerations might negate the bump of having a captive audience.

Kimo 11-10-2006 05:19 PM

martial law isnt good for anything

madawgz 11-10-2006 05:35 PM

and what makes you think this might happen?
