WTF? Visa is blocking epassporte ?

I was trying to set up a new visa card to my epassporte account and I got a notice my visa card was suspended. I called Visa to find out why and they told me it was because i was trying to send money to a gambling site ? LOL I haven't played party poker in months so I asked them what the fuck they were talking about. They said epassporte is now blocked because the majority of their transactions are to gambling sites.

Is this new news or have I missed something ? I have never had any problems like this before.

I am so fucking sick of visa, i don't even use their "credit card" it is a check card and comes out of my checking account, they should shut the fuck up and let me spend my money, legally how ever I choose. Last I checked it was not illegal for me to send money to epassporte.

I wonder how this will affect their business.

Thats been Visa's policy since about 01-02.....
they stay away from gambling transactions because of the HIGH rate of fraud on both sides of the fence.

I wasn't making a gambling transaction. read what i posted again.

VISA accused me of making a gambling transaction because i was trying to verify my NEW visa card on my epassporte account.

I wasn't even able to verify the visa card on my epass account muchless try to use it.

Visa said they are blocking all of epassporte not just gambling transacation.

just to clarify, the party poker comments were a joke. Even when i did play (months ago) i used that prepaid phone card option.

I have never used epassporte for anything other then sending money to people who have done work for me, or for advertising i have purchased.

Might want to say what bank your visa check card is drawn on.
Usually when I call the number for my such cards, when it is suspended for some reason, etc. I never actually speak with "visa". It is almost always the issuing bank.

why don't you go back to crank calling people moron.

Unlike you I don't have "credit cards" when i pay someone it comes out of my checking account. So there is no "payments" to worry about.

chase bank if that helps.

doesn't matter what bank, sounds like any of them that use the visa logo. I doubt if i go over to capitol one that visa will be ok with them doing this. I seriously doubt this is a bank issue, it is no doubt a visa issue. The person I talked to said " VISA" is blocking epassporte.

That makes absolutely no sense seeing as how there is a Visa logo on the Epassporte card.

i am sorry what did you say, all i heard was " waww waanaa wanana wannaanaa" hard to understand you with Epic's dick in your mouth.

It's funny lenny, before you started working with epic you were ok guy, never attacked people. Now you are attacking anyone who openly does not like epic in the same fashion as all the other dumb ass epic paid supportors.

FYI, moron, i bet my credit is better then yours, it was a 750 last time i checked and if your could get your head of epic's ass long enough to read my thread you would see where i said it was a CHECK CARD fuck head. It has nothing to do with me, it has to do with VISA blocking epassporte.

T-10 till epicjim chimes in that i have bad credit lol.

Epic, can't get dirt on someone so make it up. You guys want to prove that I have bad credit, good luck.

Even more funny is how employees who make like 10% what i do is telling me i can't pay my bills or i have bad credit. thanks for the laugh.

You were trying to "load" epass from your card? if so I think it depends on the card company / bank, sometimes they block their customers from certain companies.

Yes, it was a new check card i was trying to get verified (initial load) to my account.

I am just repeating what i was told on the phone, which was " visa is blocking epassporte" if that was wrong great, but either way it is apparent that I can use them.

Since like a month or so a new law passed in the US which makes it completely illegal to allow any gambling transactions in the US. Alot of banks already didn't allow their credit cards to be used on gambling sites, because of the fraud etc. Alot of gambling sites are accepting epassporte, and probably most people are using this way to still be able to gamble with money coming from US credit cards. So I can understand that the banks would block this ability.

I think epassporte's business is in one country and their bank accounts are in another country. this throws up a red flag for Visa.

obviously that is the issue, but I didn't like being accused of making a gambling transaction by the idiot on the phone. epassporte does not equal casino site. I have never used epassporte for anything gambling related.

And since when people uses Epassprote for gambling???

I thought it was used mainly for Adultz Biz... Am I missing something?

No that's not why.

Some dumb fuck lady in California sued them for 5 million and the court ruled against Visa. It went to the fucked up 9th federal court of appeals and they ruled against Visa.

The lady lost a million or so and blamed visa for letting her gamble.

It was because of this Visa and the rest started coding their cards so
they couldn't be used to gamble.

i used my capital one visa , worked fine , but in the fine print i do see it says not to be used for online gambling.. and im assuming they recently found out eppasporte was/is processing for gambling sites so its a no brainer this would eventually happen. and because epassporte is offering a service visa doesnt..

Ironic VISA is happy to issue Electron (and whatever other VISA cards) at epassporte and take a cut of the money for them - but have a problem loading a client account at epassporte.

hmmm, ok well from some other post it appears this is more then a chase problem.

This is one of the good things of GFY, i can find out how this is affecting others instead of believing the idiot on the phone that is telling me that "Visa is blocking epassporte".

I will call chase tomorrow and see if this is the case I will explain to them it is not being used for anything illegal. If they deny me I will send a wire or bank transfer or other method. I can understand them being worried about chargebacks, and since it goes through visa i can charge it back, but they are not going to stop me from moving my money one way or the other. They can't have any legal standing to deny me from sending a wire or bank transfer to epassporte.

And since when people uses Epassprote for gambling???

I thought it was used mainly for Adultz Biz... Am I missing something?
If this is true that sounds like some issues ...
