				WTF is up with google?

WTF is up with google now omitting search results by default?

I have some top spots on some good traffic keywords that now under a normal search my site doesn't show up. Now only 10 pages of search results show up.. Then on the 10th page this is listed.. "In order to show you the most relevant results, we have omitted some entries very similar to the 69 already displayed. If you like, you can repeat the search with the omitted results included" So if you click to list all the search results (over 23 million on one and 22 million on the other) Well once you click that I'm listed right back on top or in the 2nd spot. So wtf is up with that? I mean I know they omit search results when it's a bunch of pages from the same site.. However I've never seen them omit entire listings from a search result. Anyone else see this happening?

So what you're trying to say is, they're removing similar type websites even though they might be helpful?

Yes but mine isn't really just similar type of site, it's an authority site with lots of text and so on nothing spammy or anything like that. I've had top listings with the site for a few years now. I'm still listed up top on other keywords that the site isn't omitted from but I've never seen them do this before. It's caused a big drop in search traffic as a result. What gets me is I just checked my listings again and now my site is listed but others are omitted. I wonder if google is rotating it's omitted listings or something.

I've seen the same thing... Google has been fucked up ever since their last major update and either they don't give a fuck or it's taking them forever to "fix" things.
