I'm switching to HostGator

Their entire datacenter must have crashed...all I can explain that would cause their entire network to go offline.

Hmm, I may spend a bit of time searching for a host though as I am now finding bad reviews and comments from host gator customers.

Once my plans end, yes. I haven't set on a single host yet though. My one plan is recurring/ending in Sept. so I think I'll give hostgator a shot, then when my other plans end I'll move them there as well as long as the service is good.

I might give LP another shot with my mainstream sites because although they just had an "outage" this was the first I've experienced in months...and that's pretty good compared to all these other virtual hosts around.

I have a couple different accounts with hostgator. They have exceptional customer service and a really easy billing interface. Only thing is they charge you small fees for making changes like switching plans or adding a service, etc.

Thanks for that. Do you have any virtual accounts? Are you happy with uptime etc?
