a) the Zionist question was answered correctly.. A Zionist is one who would like to or does live in Israel. This is why I said somewhere that I'm Jewish but not a Zionist..

b) I should change the "Orthodox" part of my being Jewish. I was brought up in an orthodox but not to the extreme of praying 3 times a day home. My parents kept a kosher home.. meaning no bacon or sea food.. And I went to synagogue/temple every Saturday till I was around 16 when I left school and started working but continued as many others to go on all the holy days.

Now someone asked why the holacaust is still mentioned all the time.. Very easy to answer..

a) There are still many survivors who have nightmares all these years later about what they went through in the concentration camps.

b) They are still finding WW2 nazi criminals even though they're in their 80's and these guys are still being prosecuted and convicted.

The name that some one else asked about for the Jewish answer to the Red Cross is "Magen David".

i personally don't have anything against israel itself. in fact i like them more than the arabs due to the simple fact that they appear to be a civilized democracy, as oposed to most arab countries (9-11 further cemented that view of mine).

however, the truth is that both israelis and palestinians have a valid claim in this conflict. the US on the other hand does not have any real interest in this and therefore as i said should let the peoples who do have a problem figure it out between themselves.

there was and still is enough damage to the global economy (and our industry) caused by what doesn't actually concern us to let our involvement in this continue. the truth is that there is no solution to this issue and it will only get worse.

When i arrived in Australia, i was 2 years ahead of my class in nearly every regard, and that was after missing a further 8 months of school while we were in the United Arab Emirates (my dad had a contract there). Ireland has one of the highest education levels in the world.

This is the way it works in Ireland, and in particular the town i was living in; Clonmel, Tipperary. Once you've graduated from Primary School, you sit a test for Highschool. If you're in the top 150, you get in. If not, you're sent to Tech School to learn a trade, unless your family wants to cough up the cash for private education.

What's so good about that? You don't have a bunch of degenerate fucks dragging the intelligent students down. Everyone in that school has worked their ass off to get there, and they're going to work their ass off to stay there.
