taking land is what's causing the issue. however, if you take ALL the land, you can effectively snuff out the palestinians, which are something like a virus, if you don't kill the whole thing off, it will mutate into something else or find ways around the defenses.

part of killing the virus is killing off the renegade strands as well, and that's what i'm saying. you have to kill it completely off. big groups, small groups, as long as it's opposing you and will plan on striking back at you on a later date, you're not safe until they're completely wiped out and anyone who thinks in that fashion as well. you have to completely remove the generation so it does not get passed on..

from a human perspective i think this conflict is more about a last stand between imperialism/religion and capitalism/humanism. i think the latter will win out but as in all last stands, the battle will be horrific.

in researching all this mess i found this phrase that's currently haunting me:

the virus analogy isn't supposed to make it sound like i encourage them to run away. they're smart enough to establish cells in multiple remote locations as to never be completely removed.

my virus analogy is to say that as long as one single person is around who can attack us and/or start up his own crew, the virus is still living. if all the people (in groups or on their own) were snuffed out, the virus would be removed.

Success you may measure success as total cessation of terrorist attacks, I think that if they reconquer the entire West Bank and it prevents 1 terrorist attack and saves 1 innocent life than its all worth it.

The whole terror aspect is so instilled into these people from birth that it is going to be very hard to stop. But it must be stopped.

These elders send their young men and now women out to kill themselves while they just recruit more and more children that they can strap a bomb to and send off to die. Obliously they don't care at all about their children. Oh, when there is an accident like yesterday and a few innocent people are killed by mistake they jump up and down and complain. However, if they had straped a bomb to them it would have been fine..
