mac apple display user in here

anyone got a problem like a red line on your display?
its weird! i tried fixing this a while ago it was gone and after a few hours it came back. its kinda annoying especially when im doing design work.
anyone know how to fix this problem or have had any problem like this on their cinema display?

nope - never heard of it - maybe goto apple and look on their discussion groups or download the firmware for the displays

Just bought a 23" about a week ago and absolutely no problems.
It is working perfectly.

I hope your monitor is still under warranty...if not, buy an extended coverage plan, wait a month and then turn it in.

In laymen's terms, your monitor has what is called the "red line of death".

oh my!!! is it possible to get a coverage plan if the monitor was a year old?

will try to use my old g5 if i still got this problem their might be the monitor if not i think my dvi adapter has some problem crap! its annoying!

As said, it's a well documented flaw. Red line of death. Basically, you're fucked if it's out of warantee.

just red... yeah kinda fucked damnit! last time it went off then came back kinda bullshite! i tried it on my other g5 and the red line still there!!!!!!!!!!!! so problem was indeed my display!!!!!
