Well here's one for you to think about -
 Apparently the designer for http://www.shedevildolls.com / BadGirlBucks [  ] was inspired down to the exact feather and skull shapes! Amazing.Just in case anyone was interested-  - original paths and psds from my computer.can you say hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm? |

I think they are sufficiently different to be considered independent.....and it's not like the idea of feathers and skulls together is an amazingly unique one, I'm seen it several times before.....

In the real graphic design world (mainstream), that would be a definite no-no, and probably bring industry scorn upon the designer, if not a lawsuit.

I can see the skull is the same ..but the the feathers look inspired by but not the same ... I have to say that a skull with wings behind it is not a new design ..i've seen hundreds of designs that are similar ... I can see how you would feel ripped but it's a grey line in my eyes (not the skull but the overall design .. the skull is dead on minus the horns)

only thing I see even remotely similar is the shape of the skull.. fuck the feathers,, completely different.. not even close,, the design of SheDevils is by far more superior & of much better & higher quality & apparently their designer is more skilled than the latter.

Why not confront the "offender" directly and see what they spin about it. It is one hell of a lot more economical for both of you to work it out directly than to involve lawyers, etc. Maybe they will hire you to redesign their logo if you make a good case of infringement.

obviously a rip off.. the skull is the EXACT same shape... (the bottom part is kinda of the smoking gun)... and the feathers tip and middle are alike... then you have the concept of the logo that is the same... guilty

this is def a "close" case.. It seems hard to believe they weren't inspired by your design, but thats about as far as i would go. I think this is one of those " be flattered" cases. where its close enough to look the same but not close enough they are trying to confuse people..
