this is very true...

as for low pricing why rape the adult webmasters who make this whole industry go around huh might i remind you we are a community of webmasters where it's a i'll scratch your back if you scratch mine. and if i can make it easier for others to afford what would cost them thousands elsewhere why not our company doesn't need to lower prices to make money we have 4 fulltime designers and i just like to make sure the salery they get paid is for working not chatting on boards and doing anything else where

as far as the corp. logo design we have made more then enough logos for that prices and the clients where very pleased most of which use that logo on shirts, hats, pens anything so i don't see why your so pissed with our low prices other then you may think we are stealing your work but when you got it you got it and if you don't i'm sorry to say that your gonna loose in this rate race!

When people tell me my prices are too much, I raise them more.

Not that I am directing this post towards anyone, but I really hate people who complain about prices being too much.

I would never offer my services as a graphic designer because I know what a good site design can do($$$), and to design something for $500... well let's just say its more profitable to keep the design and know it will make me several times that amount in the long run.

I am in this industry for one reason.

In the long run you're going to spoil it for yourself and a lot of other designers. Right now 4 sites a month may make you enough money, but 6 months later you'll be making a site a day just to pay your rent.

And all that bullshit about helping webmasters is just that : bullshit. Everything here is about making money, and you want more clients, but you'll ruin it for everyone. It'll be exactly what happened to traffic trading scripts - with all these rotten free scripts that do nothing for your traffic except suck away 5 % to popup hells, the good scripts are having to give themselves away free as well.

Funny..... its like those cam girls that charge 99 cents a minute and then bitch because the girl who charges 4.99 a minute makes the top ten list. Yet they don't think they should charge more than they do for that service, and feel bad for the guys who can only afford (yeah right) 99 cents a minute. Gimme a break.

The loyalty in this industry is gauged by the numbers on the check. The bigger the figure, the more loyalty you will receive.
