I stupidly forgot to pay two CC's this month. I randomly check the accounts and just pay em off in full every month. Checked today and realized they are both like 1 day late.

Why don't you call the credit card companies and get them to set it up to automatically pay them fully on the 1st of every month. Then ya don't have to worry at all! But no, it won't effect your credit..

it is not reported until it is 30 days late. Since you pay them off each month your credit card company will be happy they finally got some interest out of you.

Usually if you are on time, being late by up to a week shouldnt matter once or twice. They expect payments to come in a few days after most of the time.

it won't really affect the credit card. what it will affec in a small way is your credit score.

AMEX doesn't offer that service :/

In fact, none seem to offer this.

Well, you don't build credit by paying off your balance anyway, so if you're really worried about your credit you need to stop paying the balance off. Let it ride, pay the minimums, then once it gets high pay off a big chunk. Essentially what you'll end up doing is buying your credit, thats how it works.

dispute the charge and say that ur check came back in the mail or something...

first time they almost always give it to you and remove the fees

Your interest rate just went up to about 24% or higher. Miss a payment once, and they fuck you like that. They look forward to you missing a payment just so they can raise your interest rate.

Oh, and they don't tell you, cuz it's in the terms of service, so they consider you as being told already.
