well it's not bad to listen in on terrorists, but who and what decides whether someone can be labelled a terrorist?

All I know is that in the US they can detain someone without any form of trial or legal counsel pretty much for life. If that isn't a dictatorship what is?

In that sense this war on terrorism is a pretty flexible war, isn't it? So it pretty much means for life in his case and that without trial... how do you explain such a thing? How could you ever detain someone without trial?

as far as i know and i havent read this case through england have a eaves dropping center, where if you say a certain "key" word on the telephone,internet etc (bomb in arabic or something) then you get patched through and a call center listens to you. All annoymous, unless they see a plan forming.

Im not sure if you have read the constitution, but this country was founded on not trusted government. The constitution was setup to limit the Federal Government.

So how can the Gov. have this broad powers to just eaves drop on anyone they think is a terrorist?

POWs are ALWAYS detained WITHOUT trial until the war is over.
