Advice Wanted re: high speed home network

My girlfriend moved in a couple months ago, and we have been looking for a good set up for a wireless highspeed network inside the house. We have DSL, but the only location I can place her office station is not near a phone jack to connect to her network card, and we have not found any wireless solutions we like yet.

Any recommendations on wireless hardware?

Be innovative... add a new jack! It can be done real easily even in apt's and leave no damage. Let me know if you want to talk to the hubby about it. He can guide you thru it step by step.
