What would you do if you bought software off a site and did not receive?

cause this happened to me.

1st i asked a pre-sale question and got a quality, fast response. so i bought the software, used the same email, my card was charged but haven't heard jack from them except a confirmation from 2checkout.

the site says once cc orders are verifed as non-fraud then the download link is emailed.

i have emailed them twice about my order and received NO response.

... and no, i did not find this software deal in my junk mail folder ;)

2co is generally really good, if you call them I'm sure that they will either get you an immediate refund or your product.

We are actually going through similar shit right now with a company that we ordered an affiliate gallery builder script from. They were quick to respond and fast to take our money, but it's been weeks now since they were supposed to install our script that would take "4-5 days max" and every day it's a new excuse.

I'm about to charge it back, and am giving them one last chance to make it right before I do that (and out them on GFY)

I had the exact same thing happen recently with a site I tried to purchase a script from..AND this site was also using 2checkout to process..I sent numerous emails to both 2checkout and the script selling website and heard nothing...
I'm curious if were talking about the same site now..

unlikely the same site.

well, i called 2CO and my rep was clear, fast and polite. she sent an email to the seller about my call. she also said that my order has not cleared the fraud screening on 2CO end. once it does they notify the seller to send me my product.
i find it weird that the charge appears on my card but it hasnt cleared 2CO's end.

2checkout can be a real pain in the ass sometimes. Their fraud protection is so stupid, it's not even funny. I used them back in the days when I was running a software company and sometimes it would take them days to verify a purchase. I'd recommend a bit of patience if you just bought the software, or maybe get in touch with the software company and get a status update. Probably they are just waiting for 2checkout to clear the funds.

you should try to make chargeback if not much time passed.
