Back in the early years, around late 1100's and under the rule of Saladin, Christians, Muslims, and Jews all lived peacefully in Jeruselem for hundreds of years under Muslim rule. All were allowed to practice their own religions without prejudice. The only rule was they had to pay tax to the Muslim government.

When you pit one ignorant group against another ignorant group, then throw in a little spice of religion, it will more than likely breed war. Stupidity and the lack of respect for others is the downfall of all men.

It looks u don't know much about this region and its countries and you think that ppl in mideast countries are kind of camels who grow bananas and oranges.

Lets take Israel as example - one of the worlds top 10 weapon developers and its hi-tech companies well known for everyone and we use it daily. Do u use ICQ? it's also israeli product like many types of Intel processors, med devices, pharmacy developing and producing. All the worlds bigest hi-tech players has their developing branches in Israel. I would say it's much more progressive than MOST of the europian countries since with only 6 million population Israel has tens of thousands hi-tech companies, many of them worth over 10 billion bucks.

USA gives to Israel about 2 billion dollars yearly, credit for buying some types of weapon, but most of it Israel buys with its own money. USA does not give free presents. USA also gives 2 billion dollars to arabs, like Egypt so it's equal.
