I had a Visa card transaction (me using my card) fail today. So I called my bank (Wells Fargo), figuring maybe the fraud protection kicked in again because I did a lot of online transactions yesterday.

My bank informed me that Visa is having a problem with their transactions and all transactions are failing, and I should, and I quote, "Grab some cash for the weekend, because we don't know how long they will be down for".

Just letting you know.

hmm, i think if something as big as visa being down there would all sorts of news coverage.
