Attacking him from behind really blows. That's quite low. Whoever did it is lower in my eyes than LC himself.

Many of us have tried to explain to you the past of LC and yet you continue to ramble on naively. He absolutely deserves anything he gets, you have no idea what this guy has done in the past and the lengths he's gone to interfere with the personal lives of some those in the industry.

LC has been posting "elsewhere" during the show and he has not said anything about being attacked. In fact, just before those pictures were taken of him being escorted out, the story goes he was so drunk he could not keep ahold of his camera and kept dropping it. Finally he handed it to someone at the show to hold and that individual was at the other board telling LC he had his camera still and would be happy to mail it back to him.

From what LC has said, he had a good time at the show, gave out his shirts and was not beaten, threatened or anything.

I think LC has *issues*. I do agree with others that he desperately seeks attention and wants others to feel he is I dunno...famous, has value etc. I believe that is why he talks NON_STOP about his adventure with a dildo. I have told him repeatedly to LET_IT_GO and get on with life, but I don't believe he wants anyone to foget about it. I think that keeping it in the forefront is his way of reminding everyone of his 15 minutes of fame.

Let me set one thing straight here and now, I have never ever been anything BUT professional with him, I have been admin or mod on a few boards over the years and I was never at ANY point any more or less fair to him than I was to anyone else that posted. If he stepped out of line, I'd very nicely ask him to knock it off, I never was rude or mean to him at ANY point. His threats to me were taken seriously by me, I have a family and I take things like this seriously based on an individual basis and with him I took them seriously.

He did and still does contact me every now and then and I just simply tell him that I have nothing to say to him. IF he somes at me as an affiliate or to do business, I am STILL professional with him, but he never does this.

When I was admin on another board, he was posting people's private information, and making serious threats of what he was going to do to them, which I won't name names and go into detail now, but he was scaring several people. I had a "Three Strike's, You are Out" thing going on and he repeatedly kept making threats. I put a temp ban on him and he cooled his jets...... so I let him back and the INSTANT I let him back, he started it up again with MORE people...... so I put a permenant ban on him. He came back with new nicks doing it again.

On the next board I was an admin on, he popped up and I never warned him or anything, just watched him. He made several posts and wasn't getting the attention he wanted, people were NICE to him.. so what does he do? He starts the threats up all over again...... and threats weren't JUST at me, they were at a few people who weren't doing anything but being cordial to him as I had asked that they do to see if that would turn him around... NOPE!

I do NOT condone bullying people at all, not even LC...... it's just dropping those people to his level, so even with LC, there should be some sort of respect in that you don't just pick on him because is a freak..... be mindful of that. So what he shows up at a show, LOTS of assholes do that and they aren't treated like heros because they had balls to show up at a show...... I ain't falling into that group. But at the same time, bullying someone like that is just not cool..... no not even to him. If you do not like him, do what I and others do...... STAY AWAY FROM HIM!! IF he starts on you personally then plant his ass in the ground...... plain and simple. lol

Sounds like a reasonable and fair way to deal with anyone.

Steve LC have made thousands of useless threads from various nicknames (since he get banned in matter of minutes on most message boards). He's an industry stalker that thrives for attention.

I can understand why some people don't have the patience to deal and hear about his bullshit anymore.

He's also got about 2 dozen icqs (he icq pretty much every big poster of this board and a couple otehrs daily, when we don't answer, he grabs another icq # and try again later on...).

The dude wants to become a stuntcock. look at him... as a content provider, would you waste your time answering to him?

He dosen't fit the profile at all..

I talk to the dude from time to time on icq. He sounds allright most of the time, BUT he stalks when I don't answer him and that's the problem there. The guy should start in other fields of the industry if he wants to make it that bad (make his money from free sites and such), and then move on to content production and be his own stunt cock.

i agree, he seems like a nutcase from the icqs and myspace requests he sends me, and seemed not all there when i met him in miami. but he seemed like a nice guy. its not really that hard to ignore a few requests.

Other people have encouraged me to ban him etc.. however.

I have chatted with him, he has posted to my board often enough but I get annoyed when he starts posting with 3 different nicks, or contacts me on ICQ with 6 different ICQ numbers. He needs to learn that isn't cool and that's what pisses people off quite a bit.

LC kept his word with me and never bothered me at the show - and I do thank him for that - in giving me my space.

Seeing that someone has taken to physically harming him at the show does upset me and I must say that I do NOT wish any harm to LC - only that he does require some sort of counselling on his social skills.

I still refuse to post on boards that he is associated with only that I do not wish to add to any drama that he is apart of... plus.. I want to keep out of his crosshairs when he looks for people to harass. The stories I have personally heard makes me upset that he can't grasp the idea that when knocking on someones door asking to speak to them - and they yell "go away" - you do not continue hitting that door for days on end and the windows of their kids.

To those who started beating on him - I would honestly say that if I saw that happening - I would have stepped in to LC's rescue. Hate him or not - no person deserves that treatment. If you feel bothered by him - then don't post on the boards he is on - block ICQ requests or contact your local authorities... you do not go out and hunt him down and beat him.

I do give him credit for showing up given how people feel towards the guy. I saw him a bit before he got tossed/taken to his room with the guy that was keeping an eye on him as he was so drunk. Wouldn't stop shaking and then trying to keep shaking my hand as I was leaving the Diplomat to go to my hotel room but put it off to him being just really drunk. No big deal. No harm, no foul.

Hmmm.. didn't realize the guy had multiple restraining orders on him. That's not good. Thought he just might be someone people really just disliked because of how he acted on the boards and nothing more.

Saw LC many times during the show, including after this pic was taken, so its not like he was really "banned" lol. He was smart enuf to stay away from me, and I typically dont go looking for trouble ...

With that being said.... if you havent gotten the opportunity to deal with LC on a regular business (bashing him on the boards doesnt count) then you really dont know how he can be. He CAN purport himself in a decent matter, but from my experience, that is a rare rare occurance. I agree with what TAM said - the guy scares me. He is known for his .... tendancies to latch on to someone or something Obsessively.

If he was attacked from behind at internext, whoever did it is in my book, a complete coward asshole. I mean really, from behind? Thats just shitty. Does it raise my opinion of LC? No, because alot of what I know of him IS scary .... and im sorry, but him showing up at internext wasnt brave - it was stupid. The end result could have potentially been a lot worse than it was, causing trouble for internext as a whole.

All in all tho it seemed like most people just ignored him, which is good.

I didnt hear about the beat down from behind. I heard a few stories about him at the show. My personal exp. with him hasnt gone bad or good really. Ive seen him post on some threads & he seems to be straight. I have gone back & read other stuff & figured maybe he "learned his lesson"
Not going to defend him or praise him, but at the same time we're all adults (at least by age on paper) & theres never any reason to jump a guy from behind. If you do have an issue.. man up and have the balls to deal with the person in the eye. Also if you do want to throw down..is there really a reason to do it in front of everyone.. so what to show you can kick this guys ass.. great, thumbs up, you can beat someone down, what now? Just avoid the guy, if you want to "hurt" the guy do it where it counts - just dont work with him. When hes not making coin with you, he'll move on to someone else.. it might work, it might not.. but then they will blackball him too.. if he is such an ass & doesnt learn his lesson, there is going to be very few places he can go to work with someone... so hopefully he does learn if thats the case.
but give him a little credit, he outright knew there could be problems, he went to work & promote his stuff like anyone else.. theres really no need to beat the guy (specially from behind)

You must not know LC, 99% of the people he's stalked and harrassed over the last 4 years wanted nothing to do with him from the outset, yet it didn't matter. He's never shown a propensity to "move on" to someone else. There are always new people that come into the industry that he latches on to and they don't know his past.

On a side note, I've talked to dozens of people at the show who saw LC throughtout it and never saw or heard any evidence suggesting he was beaten from behind.

This is what happened ..

It started with me a few years ago and ended with me at internext ..

I asked LC to stay away from me in FLA .. For the most part he did it .. he tryed to get close to me a few times but was quickly pushed away ..

On the Night in question it was very late .. somewhere around the early 3 am's .. I was standing by the entrance door to the pool with my Documentary Crew .. Going over the days happenings .. when I noticed LC closer to the pool .. The boy looked in bad shape . He was hunched over, Looked like he had drank heavily .. He approcahed me and my crew .. And got to about 4-5 feet from me. He was reaching out to me as though he wanted to touch me .. I asked him to keep his distance .. but then I noticed he didn't look well .. I asked him if he'd be Drinking .. he could only murmur some fucked up sounds .. After a few minutes . security came out. Pulled him away and layed him done on a lawn chair .. As he layed there, He was still reaching out .. securtiy decided to excort him out and was very Polite and gentile about it ... I must tell you all .. I felt bad seeing him like that .. Seeing that he had been drinking, Not good, especially in his condition .. Later in the night I asked security what happend to him .. They told me he was brought back to his room and slept it off .. LC I'm sorry it had to come to this ..

I am trying to be fair to LC - I really am.

when I arrived I not only asked AVN and security that rather than request he be banned - I felt it fair that instead I have security nearby so that in case he attempts to contact me I can have someone remove him. I wanted him to stay away from me so that I wouldn't be harassed. Judging from the many comments I heard from webmasters and those in the industry he just creeps everyone out - kind of like a guy who would kill someone merely to get his name in the papers for attention.

I asked him on another board - and I do thank LC for keeping a distance.. I have to respect that. Those that hurt him, or merely entertained themselves at his expense for me - are worse than LC... yet...Most importantly I DID ask AVN and the security to watch over Lawrence knowing that when others know of his presence - someone is going to take a punch at him or attempt to harm him. Although I am not friends nor fond of him over his treatment of webmasters - the industry and myself, I still do not believe a man should be physically harmed. Security assured me they would watch over LC so that anyone looking to harm him, he would be protected.

My sense is he needs to seriously consider a lawsuit if this event happened.

but as vid said, my heart goes out for the guy - and violence is never the answer - but LC has threatened, harassed and annoyed more than a few in this industry - and many have been hurt for far less.

Does everyone really forget so soon the wav files that were posted of the threatening phonecalls Lawrence left on people's answering machines? Or how about the dildos and creepy fucking cryptic messages he mailed (snailmailed, he had their home addresses) to people? He is a psycho, he's threatened people, harassed people, and as far as I'm concerned I'm glad to see him gone, and avoided him like the plague at the show.
