The mob mentality of this place is surprising. What has LC done to any of you directly for you to want him to be humiliated or beaten? If he is "dangerous", maybe its because everyone is ganging up on him?

although i agree, to a point, what you are saying, i can only speak for myself when I say that hes annoying at the least and even a little too persistant. he's tried to add my to myspace a few times and i know hes done that to others and contacted me on icq. i know its not a crime or anything but its very annoying to be harassed by someone. so my question would be then, what have *I* done to make him wanna pursue my friendship so much (and others as well)?

I'm not saying he doesn't act weird, he's done the same to me. He obviously has poor social skills. I'm not trying to stick up for him, or offend you. I'm just saying that it seems like he has been singled out and people that don't have any history with him are jumping on the bandwagon.

He's tried adding me to ICQ a couple times, he actually wished me a happy birthday too. Ignoring him works fine. He really hasn't done anything to most people except annoy them. Its pretty obvious that he has some sort of mental issue.

Though we do have to keep in mind that he stalked Tom (va2k) and really caused a lot of problems with his life. He sent inappropriate packages to his house, called and left very inappropriate messages on his answering machine, I believe the police were involved a couple times, etc.

He isn't innocent. But he isn't a killer either.

At least take some time and do some searches as it appears as long as you've been a member here you still aren't familiar with all he's done. So would you think differently Steve if he called your house at 3 am day after day with threats and harrassing phone calls?

I remember the early days when he left dozens of phone messages on content providers answering machines and caused some of them to get a restraining order. He's an alcoholic and ticking timebomb who's sole intent is to wreak as much havoc by annoying and harrassing anyone in this industry who he's able to obtain personal info on.

There is a fine line between acting weird and stalking people to the point of asking a restraining order. He's crossed that line many, many times.

Yep, Tom was one of the first content providers he began stalking about 3 years ago and caused him a great deal of stress. I think LC probably thought some of his earlier antics had blown over and after 3 years it was ok to show his face at a show. I have a hard time believing somebody didn't confront him to his face at the show regarding his past antics.

If you were familiar you wouldn't need to ask that.

If he left messages for your wife and kids with crazy threatening messages, are you telling me you'd write it off as no big deal? There is no cause and effect as you suggest, he popped on the scene over 3 years ago and decided he was going to be a porn star and harrass everyone that he could in the industry until he got what he wanted.

I understand what LightSpeed is saying and in some ways agree. Not so much that I feel that people shouldn't bash LC for what he has done, but because many of the actions are hypocritical.

There are a lot of people on this board who have stolen, lied, and blatantly ripped people off. These people attend shows, post regularly, and don't seem to get any shit.

Seems more like LC gets shit because he's not in the "in crowd".

Those who know all of his history know this is a psychopath who will one day wind up in prison. There are people who were never part of gfy that had huge run ins with LC more than 3 years ago.

Well there are certainly others who are black eyes to the industry, but this thread is about LC and what he's getting is still far short of what he deserves.

Dude has serious issues problems. Contacted me one night on icq and asked me to back him up in a thread saying he was setup lol . Then after ignored him everyday friend request after friend request. So one night i tell him leave me the fuck alone and he starts ranting how he is goning to put a bullet in my head. I tracked his # down called him and said back the fuck off oe you gonna get a ass wipin.

So next day cops at the door shit head called them on me for threating him. So i kindly showed the officers the problems he has been causeing with others and his video of Lanni taping that ass along with his icq conversations. Needless to say the officers left shaking there head laughing :1orglaugh

In almost any other situation I would agree with you 100%, everyone ganging up on someone is never good and is usually always pretty childish in my opinion. BUT:

LC has made threats of a physical nature to me and many other people I know, and you know what? I was the ONE webmaster that always gave him a fighting chance, I was always kind to him and tried very hard to be nice to him when everyone else was slamming him. But he doesn't get that, he doesn't know how to carry on a conversation if he had a script to do so, he is dangerous in my opinion and I know of a couple of people on here that he has made threats to AND carried out a few of them. He's made trouble for a few of my friends and their families and so many other things I can't even go into right now.

Of ALL of the webmasters I have ever met or dealt with, HE is the one that makes me jumpy everytime he speaks to me, or to anyone else. That boy ain't right and I don't condone the ganging up on people like this either, but HE is an exception to this rule. People like him scare the shit out of me........ just because you don't know what the hell he is going to do!!
