I'm kind of kicking myself in the ass since I used to own trueloveonline.com and pretty much gave it away just for some hosting. I could have made something big from that domain I bet

How do you think your life would be different if you hadn't started working in this biz in 1997, but only got the opportunity to start in, say, 2000 or 2002?

Uh, why? The domain doesn't make the site. If you think you could have made "something big" from TrueLoveOnline.com (which is an average domain, by the way) then you can make "something big" from any decent domain.

I started out as an erotica writer and began writing for some adult mags (back when those were popular) and moved to online gambling then to Adultnews.com where I'm the web producer.

you know, if you read my first post in this thread using the voice of Slugworth from "Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory" (the original) it comes off like intended.

well, I just think it would have made a good online dating site.. That's just my opinion though. I know it's average, but still. Would still have made a pretty good online dating site. Yes, it has no real value since it has 3 words that more than likely will not get typed in by anyone.. ah fuck, what the hell do I know lol ;)

We had started a free site for my wife to get people to go to her ifriends camshows. Then we went pay a year later, decided to only use the first years money the site made for equipment upgrades and classes. During this time I did business Dev for a publicly traded dotcom. Then one day I got the call its time to come home. That was over 4 yrs ago , we have three pay sites.

I have a successful career as an software developer in mainstream with a publically-traded company and shitloads of stock options. Hopefully, I will cashout in a big way in the next year. Been running a medium sized surfer forum for 3 years as a hobby and opened a couple TGPs last year. Don't have much interest in adult right now since it seems to be floundering big time and can't get its shit together as an industry, but I still enjoy posting here for whatever reason.

I'm the Director of Corporate Relations for the AdultInsider Network.

I'm responsible for all the marketing and sales for AdultInsider.com, I'm the chief affiliate manager and PR person for RevenueGold.com, I do secondary affiliate support for PronStarBucks.com, FreeNetPass.com, XXXSexTicket.com and a few other of our companies. I'm also involved in new site design and existing program improvement, content procurement and a little graphic design and programming.

....who am I kidding, I'm just eye candy =p

I run my own company (no partners) that offers managerial and consulting services, develops in-house software platforms and traffic generation for various clients. DieselAction is the most known of them here.

My adult webmaster career started when I became a dot bomb refugee in 2000. I used to work for a venture capital and incubator firm in the late 90s where I saw the potential of ecommerce and online publishing. I founded a successful academic assistance site in 1996 and it was my passport to the VC/Incubator career. After work hours and during my spare time, I would experiment with adult landing pages and traffic building. I made my first adult $ with EZ green then when they experienced problems, I moved on to ARS. I did webmaster work purely on the side until 2000 when the VC firm folded and I became a fulltime webmaster. I focused mostly on ebony and ethnic traffic. I did quite well with ARS--so much so, that many of the laptops and house/kitchen appliances I had in the States where from their rewards program. In 2003, I moved back to the Philippines (where I was born) and founded Webmasterlabor.Com

Webmasterlabor.Com focuses on per-project and (since 2006) offshore staff leasing. We don't charge setup or training fees for our normal services. There's no minimum monthly contract amounts. Initially, Webmasterlabor.Com specialized in TGP/MGP and Link list submissions. We did $5 submissions for manual submissions to 200+ TGP sites. We also did reviews and gallery descriptions. Almost at the same time, Webmasterlabor.com also branched out into differing mainstream ventures. By April/May 2005 Webmasterlabor.Com stopped offering adult webmaster services and now focuses exclusively on mainstream services.

I am extremely grateful for the GFY and online webmaster community for giving us the opportunity to do business.

I'm a bondage photographer for 6 years, webmaster of my own sites (first 2 links in Sig) for 4 years, and now I'm webmaster for two models' fetish sites: Fayth: http://www.faythonfire.com and Marci: http://www.funwithmarci.com

Oh, and occasionally I get to take a nap.

Started in April 2006 with 10 free sites after about 5 years of just reading, buying domains, experimenting. I do everything myself and learned by doing. July so far I avg 5 sales a day with 14 sponsors hand picked. Avg profit $80 day. Not getting rich but not bad doing nothing but checking my stats daily and updating about once a month.
