So, I have all this content for my paysite that is in progress, & I went to make double checks to make sure all my i's were dotted & my t's crossed to make sure everything was cross referenced & double checked & I see that the majority of the ID's & releases have the names & addresses blacked out?

So, wtf good is it? Will it hold up.. I mean, I got the copy, copy of release, & license from primary producer, so, is this legit & in full compliance?

From what I was told blacked out was no good but the sad truth is most are guesses til someone is sitting in court.

if you are a member of the FSC your are exempt from 2257 inspection while the injunction is in place. 4472 is only applicable to content posted online after the 27th of July 2006. So if its already up, dont sweat it. If it isnt then you need new documents my friend.

i wasn't speaking about you as an individual. i was obviously talking about matrix. and its not about "you"... its about the company you represent and what it did.

i am sure you are a nice guy and all but there is no point in lying to cover up the fact of what did actually happen... especially since "you weren't there" as you said... not "being there" means you are probably not in a position to comment at all. i was however "there" when a letter came from acacia with my name which was horribly mispelled intentionally, shown exactly as it was when i registered at matrix - so i guess we can both agree that i can be considered to be a little more informed on the matter than you.

answers like "whatever" to something so serious in a time when the government is cracking down all over the place is a little disapointing. you could have used that opportunity to comment on the future, on policies, on client privacy etc... instead you chose to make it clear that the interest of the customer is STILL not really a concern of matrix. nice.

Gotta figure out if you're a secondary or primary producer and go from there. The boards are the wrong answer. Your attorney is. I'm not an attorney, but think as in lay opinion: if you bought content that was non exclusive you are secondary. If you bought exclusive content shot for you, I THINK that makes you primary along with who ever took the pics.

I think handing out talent addresses is stupid. Maybe Paul feels safer cause his content is far away from the freaks in the US???? That's his choice. I'd tend to protect talent from the perverts. Look at some of the letters Lightspeed gets for their models.... Think it could be more than a little scary for a model if her address was posted to all webmasters. Actually, come to think of it, giving the info to the justice department is kinda scary too.
