But its getting late so i needed to finsh up for the night. I have one little problem with the join rotating i need to fix. wont be a problem lol.

Hi Tom,

Work on your lettering skills, being able to produce good looking 3D or 2D letters is one of the signs of a true pro

try taking some of the tutorials on this site

it's a damn ugly site for a PS tutorial site, but the articles are just great, and some of them can inspire you, just as the contest did...

also, try searching for some color theory tutorials on google

although va2k's design isnt that good, at least he did try to do something creative with it, although the result is...disturbing. the horses and the bizarre sound just make you go "WTF" when you look at it, but it does elicit a reaction nonetheless. gotta hand it to you for actually being creative though and not just cranking out the standard lookalike design/concepts like the winners did.
