Big Brother was proposed today and everybody luvs it

Read the Article:

http://www.cnn.com/2002/ALLPOLITICS/...ity/index.html

A single HUGE govt agency with as much power as they need to insure Homeland Security.

Get ready to be watched...

disclaimer: I'm not a conspiracy theory believer, however, I do think this agency will be given too much power, and will be taking more with time, what personal freedoms are you willing to lose to insure your homeland's security?

SPAM! The Prez was spamming! Congress is the only one who can implement a new gov't body. He was asking the people to "convince" their reps that it was a good idea. Fuck that!

spam, spam, spam, spam, bacon and spam.

Next he will have pop-up ads.

I'm sure you guys don't care what my opinion on this is since I'm Canadian, but that seems like a good idea to me. Right now the U.S.A. has 13 intelligence agencies, it's no wonder all those clues slipped through the cracks.

I'm an (almost) law abiding citizen who pays taxes, I don't care if big brother is watching me as long as he's also watching the dude from Afghanistan learning to fly planes with no interest in landing.

Just my

The advantage of having 13 intelligence agencies is that each one watches what the other one does, and fucks them if someone is screwing it up... intelligence agencies control information flow to decision makers worldwide, thus controlling the whole country...

The messiest stuff here is that trying to achieve Homeland Security probably involves messing with other countries' own security, and not necessarily those countries on the terrorism shitlist...

Homeland Security year 2010 = KGB Year 1970

They also only wanted to make sure nobody would do something wrong to their precious country.

Idea is not bad - Guarantee me it won't get out of hand like in East Germany !!! But oh yeah I forgot, there are no guarantees in politics, just promises.

"Right now the U.S.A. has 13 intelligence agencies, it's no wonder all those clues slipped through the cracks"

the problem is 13 intelligence agencies that spend all day hiding from each other instead of working together. i'm all for checks and balances but fuck. it seems that NO agencies, governent or otherwise are communicating with their counterparts.

the adult industry should be proud because this idea of cooperation is what makes us strong.

It's just more "pork" as they call it.. More tax payer money being spent on more agencies that will do very little to fix the problems for which they are being created.
Quite typical...
