Epassporte has to shave to make ends meet. Paypal can afford to be arrogant, they have 100+ millions clients, i highly doubt millions of people use epassporte, only a small circle of webmasters, mostly in adult business.
I sent an email two months ago. Guess what? No response. What do they think? I cant afford to waste time emailing everyday till i get a fucking answer to a fucking simple question? This company sucks big time and i hate being treated like shit, no respect for customers.

I think most of us are cool guys not looking for troubles, but this damn company is always looking for excuses to block accounts, hold money, not answering emails/phone calls and so on.

Is this a 1 man operation or what? You are charging fees you bitches, and we pay your fucking salaries, so what the fuck is going on? Several times a week a guy starts a drama thread with epass and 10 more webmasters add their own horror story. 10 horror stories per new epass thread.

You should really go fuck yourself, THIEVES

where did you send that email? why don't you send it to me - tassy.pink AT ePassporte DOT com (or see sig/ICQ me). i'd love to answer your simple question, quickly - if it hasn't been answered already.

i am sorry you feel that ePassporte trying to protect your account from being frauded when alerted to something suspicious is "looking for trouble...[and] for excuses to block accounts". i have a feeling you'd be more upset if we left your account open when we suspect someone might have access to your account info and a way to drain your account of your money there. the complaint thread would change to "epassporte didn't pay attention when someone took out all of my money in a day!" and you'd be asking why we didn't put a hold on your account and notify you or ask for verification from you regarding any suspicious looking activity.

also, i suppose i should reiterate that no one calls their bank when the ATM gives them the correct amount of cash and thanks them profusely; however when someone's bank ATM fails to give them to the correct amount of cash all hell breaks loose and they complain to customer service. (which also makes them fill out a form, mail it in, verify the complaint, etc.)

of course complaints are brought to the board by adult webmasters - this is slightly different than going to your bank & ePassporte recognises that, which is why keyser and i are here with ICQ & email in sig to provide another level of support to our adult industry clients. so "10 horror stories per new epass thread" kind of makes sense. (there are also posts in most of those threads from people who love their ePassporte.)

if keyser or myself posted every time i got an ICQ with profuse thanks and proclimation of how great ePassporte is and how impressed they are with our continually improving customer service, we'd be accused of patting ourselves on the back. :2 cents:

I havent ever had a problem with Epassporte and find it great for me to use, but then again, I was gifted an account. If you're in the UK trying to sign up without a credit card you're royally fucked and can't get anythind done so I had one opened for me.

Thankfully no problems, I won't stop using Epass cause they suit my needs, unlike shitty poopal! (ongoing battles with them every single week....)

MaddCaz 07-16-2006 02:29 PM

My thoughts exactly...

They really do perform a magnificent service for us all, MOST of the time. Let's cut 'em a little slack. But guys, please...step up and fix these customer service problems. It really needs some attention. :thumbsup

millions for backup you are clueless (sigh)

They have millions of OUR MONEY.

And if they use that to cover operating expenses (including lawsuits) they'll go to jail if they can be located. They are required to keep our money in a trust account and not comingle it with the operating funds. The same way an attorney keeps trust accounts for his clients.

We had a local personal injury attorney get convicted of raiding the trust accounts to the tune of nearly $2 million not so long ago. He escaped major jail time IIRC because he promised to make reistution from personal funds and had a sudden wave of guilt for the people he fucked over. But a payment processor for the porn industry will not be so lucky.

Well, you could sue them. I was involved in that class action. I got a little postcard check for like $5 and some change out of the $900 they stole from my account. Never again will I use them.

bob69 07-17-2006 09:22 AM

Many thanks to Keyser, without his help,I have nothing to do:)

Cash 07-19-2006 04:53 AM

that's why I only receive money from sponsors there, otherwise they can always block your account.

PMdave 07-19-2006 05:31 AM

whow, the "bad english" comment was a good one. I even remember the voice of the india girl I had online last time I called epassporte. Don't ask me wath she said though.... didn't understand a word.

Trax 07-19-2006 05:37 AM

how would the fraudster get access to a third persons account..any easier than gaining access to a random account ?

So if i gave you some money , that turned out to be fraud , and you gave some money to keyzer 1 year later , your going to close keyzers account and ALL money accrued on that account just incase i access his account ? how would i access his account i have nothing to do with keyser. i gave the money to you.

Seems to me this whole thing of "gift cards " was to mitigate your responsobility to protect people from fraud.. why bother protecting anyone from fraud when you can simply take other people's money to pay back the fraud.

seizing accounts that dont have anything directly to do with the fraud is to protect yourself not us. so why bullshit. If the account has more money than the suspected fraud how can you justify seizing it or denying customers access to their money ?

liquidmoe 07-19-2006 08:54 AM

The only really evident thing that can be gathered from this mess is that Epassporte definitely needs to spend a bit more of their resources on improving customer service.

The service itself I think runs fairly well, minus some blocked accounts, but really if they had a responsive and knowledge support staff even if an issue came up it wouldnt be a big deal because you knew you would quickly get someone at the other end that could tell you whats going on and resolve it quickly.

It is true that everyone makes mistakes and the fraud is something that needs to be looked out for, but when you are an industry where mistakes = death (finances) you really do need to have a great support department to keep your customers at the very least informed of what's happening.
