i have a directory with 1000+ zip files in it, each one containing a font or two... i want to unzip all these at once, without having to open each in winzip... any way to do it?

Dawgy...what are you doing using winzip?!

All the cool kids on the block are using winrar...it has the feature you're looking for, all you gotta do is install it and then select all your files...right-click and select "Extract Files..." and it shall do your bidding.

That's what I said make a batch file...
Why go to the trouble of downloading one when you
could spend 2 to 3 hours writing and debuging one.
Lot more fun to waste your time don't you think?

"without having to open each in winzip... any way to do it?"

Unfortunately you can have something drag and drop them all to your FONT folder in C://WINDOWS, but also my advice, is if you downloaded them all from the net, some of the wont work regardless so go through them and check them out individually.

Why did you DL 3k of fonts at the same time? Shit ive been collecting fonts for 7 years and dont have that many.

Most of those fonts must be trash, go theough them man, youre gonna save yourself loads of time everytime you start Ps it will run through 3k of fonts? A waste of time to me...

mkdir C:\fonts
pkunzip *.zip -d C:\fonts\

Boom, should be done in 3 minutes, all the fonts in the C:\fonts directory.
