The ultimate price of being a bad perent !

I was driving home tonight and saw an accident so I stopped to see if I could help. What I saw was so disturbing I just have to let people know. This woman was driving with her three year old daughter standing on the front seet when she had a head on collision with a pickup truck. The kid went flying and sadly died! As a mother, I get so mad to see a perent be so careless. Do you think this woman, will learn her lesson ?

In the blink of an eye that woman's life is destroyed (bury your child and go straight to prison most likely). As reckless as she clearly was, I still feel sorry for her. I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

She just lost her kid ... trust me she feels bad.

Not only did her kid died, but she is the one responsible and she knows it.

on one level I feel bad that this woman lost her child. On another, I think it might do her some good to suffer the loss that was self inflicted by risking the life her own child. That in itself is a sentance, but as someone said, she may be looking at jail as well.

People don't respect the power of automobiles. It's two tons of metal traveling at great speeds. You have to respect that, and too many people do not. Same as water. People don't respect water, next thing you know you've drowned.

Hopefully she died quickly, or at least got knocked out first by the force of the impact. Absolutely no excuses for not having your kid in a seat belt - no excuses for not having anyone in a seat belt for that matter. Not sure how the laws are elsewhere, but you have to be a certain weight to even sit in the front seat in Arizona and I'm sure that a 3-year-old couldn't have been the minimum weight.

Many places don't allow younger children to ride in the front because of the air bags. A child's head and neck can't take the sudden force of the airbag inflation and it can actually result in a dislodged brain in a youngster. Most new car manuals these days have a lengthy warning about it (although I highly doubt most people even bother to read the car manual anyway).

Tragic story about the young child, though. I hate hearing stories like that.

I have no sympathy for her. She was an adult and knew better. She put her childs life in danger and her child paid the ultimate price for her stupidity.

Yup, as much as she deserves the severest of punishments.... it still won't compare to the punishment she will put herself through just in sheer guilt of knowing what she did.

(that is, if she has a heart... and some people don't and would just brush this off).
