If a laptop computer doesnt come with wireless, can you add wireless?

Anyone know if you can add wireless to a laptop that didnt come with it?
At first I assumed that of course you can, but recently im reading things saying that if the laptop doesnt have an antenna already you cant add wireless to it.

any ideas?

nope, if you buy a laptop without built in wireless you are not allowed to use the internet, at all.

please log off asap or i will be forced to contact the authorities.

i hope you make the right choice.

you need to have an empty PCMCIA/PC card slot It's usually on one of the two sides of the laptop. the slot is about 2 inches long by about 1/4 inche tall and normally has a piece of plastic holding it's space. there is a tiny eject button on one side (usually the front side) that will help you to eject the plastic piece / space holder.

As long as you have an available slot - you can put a wireless card in there ...
