What's wrong with promoting Redlight District? It's 100% Rick Salomon approved! ( So is Mallcom, btw. )

Oops, I had the wrong link for Redlight. Red Light Revenue is the correct spot to promote " 1 Night in Paris " DVD.

Webmaster's choice but you look silly because everyone knows that impulse buyers will pay now to get instant gratification online with a new thing called a stream. People can put all the links side by side if they like or choose whatever works best but the leader of the pack and the only place you can see the video or derivitive works for marketing purposes is HotelHeiress.com period.

You are just salty- at least point out to webmasters the other facts. We launched a long time before any dvd seller or supplier and that is a fact.

Mallcom are great people and a great store but they have no approval from Rick Salomon directly.

This is exactly why potential affiliates might choose to push the DVD harder, as opposed to your non-stop legal threats. Give it a rest, Norm Zadeh junior.

Quit crying because I mentioned Mallcom or Red Light District. Whine, whine, whine. When you want me to market Xpays in my posts on GFY, then offer to pay me to plug it. Otherwise, what's in it for me to mention it? I don't say shit like " you are just salty " when you don't mention the legal DVD options or point out other facts. Should I?

They (along with many others, like Amazon.com too if I'm not mistaken) market the Redlight DVD. Not a counterfeit. Is there a reason why you hint that they might not be an approved reseller? Pretty shameful of you.

The "Buy it here now" link leads to Mallcom, right from Redlight's own site.

I already covered those topics. You have a lack of courtesy and no business here in this thread other than to be a shit stirrer so save the sanctimoniousness for people who's businesses are not affected by copyright theft. Don't get so upset when I point out the facts as you may confuse people.

Thanks for pointing that out and I will forward to Redlight to handle as they do with their resellers who are put in this position.

We on the otherhand, armchair quarterback, have a signed letter on letterhead from Redlight saying they have never authorized any party to use any content other than the boxcover.

I pointed out some great facts too. These people don't need to listen to your threats, and they don't need to promote Xpays with their Paris Hilton traffic either.

They have a large variety of legal places to send their Paris Hilton traffic.

You're just pissed that I reminded them of that fact, because you're a bully.

Did you miss the fact that it wasn't an affiliate? It's Redlight's OWN SITE, duh. Keep insulting me idiot, I'll keep bumping your thread for you all night.

Back in 04, why were your infringing competitors able to convert so much better than your site?

Has your team improved its marketing effort? Have you canned the DRM bullshit?

These are serious, unsalty questions.

You left a bad taste in a lot of webmasters' mouths when you went after affiliates instead of programs by threatening Google.

We launched HotelHeiress at $30 per sale and 50% of the dialer for foreign to address that. By contract we have to have the drm choice for the consumer though and it is a stable revenue generator. We have member's area's out there using the drm standalone "TrustFundGirls.com" as an upsell with great results. It has places where it works great but the revenue per sale is higher with HotelHeiress since HH is a conventional paysite and not a one-off.

Redlight, XPays and all other legal marketers in hotel and other franchises are working together Brujah to stop infringement of the video. Please start posting some infringers who you know are thieving and have some objectivity.

I don't search for infringers, but if you want to throw some cash my way I suppose I could find some for you. You didn't really seem to anxious to go after Guba when we were posting what they had. I thought you lost interest.

Well what you will see actually happen is that I stop talking about it publicly when the litigation starts and then all you will hear is the clamoring of infringers.

You jumped through -their- hoops, which is much more leniency than I bet you give to any of the affiliates you killed and others you've dmca'd. You actually dug up the infringing links if I recall for them, and pointed out to them what to remove. You gave them a lot of room to fix it, which was a nice gesture.. while for anyone else you just DMCA, threaten, and fuck 'em all.

If any of that is inaccurate, feel free to correct it.

Not true.

You lost money with that genius move. All you had to do was contact the affiliates, explain the situation, and send a c&d if your explanation was not received.

Now you are stuck trying to make money with lawsuits.

How many people can say they had the most sought-after content in the history of the internet? What a squandered opportunity, my friend. One of the biggest marketing fumbles in the history of online adult.

most of those people you are referring to are our best affiliates and you are wrong. we are only suing those who intentionally do what they do and pop up over and over again each time we sever their serpent head.

I icq'd with them and sent one email and they took of care of it. if it happens repeatedly and there is a problem then all bets are off. there were no hoops.

that is an interesting model. good luck with that and the only comment I have is - have you all done a patent infringement analysis on the Netflix patent - because to a layperson it appears super infringing.

I don't agree with your business model. Spin it how you want, it still stinks. May your victims receive the same leniency you gave to Guba.. but we all know they won't. You like to pick on reps too.

I would like to clarify my question about 2257 and its relevance here. In regards to these cases- we see it as deceptive business practices to claim 2257 and give a false impression to the consumer. The question I had about it was not at all relevant.
