snitch.....

I'm rather disappointed in you sleazydream. I'd have thought someone with the girth of your flabby fat ass would appreciate efforts to enforce the rights of handicap parking. Bylaw officers don't MAKE the by-laws...its their job to enforce them. Only a juvenile mentality would consider that "snitching". |

The attitudes of so many in this thread really suck. |

all coming out bit by bit...........:2 cents: "I'd sooner hate on the arrogant rich " "I love it when rich snobs think they rule the world " "He was well-dressed in his finest golfing attire and had that incredibly pampered and coiffed look about him, right down to his $300 italian shoes." "I did my job, along with taking some self-satisfaction in it." "Its just sweeter when they're arrogant pricks." |

BTW, tell your wife I said hello! |

My daughter replied, "I'd say he deserved to be towed." "Why's that," my wife then asked her. "Because...he shouldn't have been parked there, and its not fair for handicap people," she replied. "Do you think it was right to have his car towed away," I asked. "Yes," she said. Its rather sad how a 12-year-old can grasp what many supposed adults here on GFY fail to understand. But it doesn't entirely surprise me. |
Sure, hide behind your kid, fuccing pussy!
|
would her answer be the same if you had asked
""What would you say if I told you your dad had a poor guy's old cheap car ticketed and towed from a handicap parking spot the other day?" |
|
Quote:
Rich or poor...don't matter. Bylaws and designated handicap parking zones apply to all equally. |
no need to ask her that question, im sure her answer will be the same :)

if i moonlighted as a metermaid....i surely wouldnt post about it on gfy

Goddamn, this worthless piece of shit thread is still alive? Do you send your kid to a public school? If so, that would explain it. Public Schools are known to brainwash children with unconsitiutional police state thinking. While they are young, they are trained to think that the government even has a right to have traffic laws at all. |

So...by that logic - we should instead enroll her into a privately-funded school system that advocates....what...disrespect for the handicapped, elderly and disabled vets? Hell, why not anarchy? Maybe she can major in civil disobedience 101. |
What is the big deal for turning in a lazy fuck that probably could afford it and took his/her chance for a parking voilation?
I wish more people would report these lazy drivers. Never thought I would be in a situation that we could have temp plates, and we avoided the handicap parking like a plague unless we tied up traffic:upsidedow |

It,s your attitude that's way off. |

You know what? I have a torn tendon in my foot right now. Hurts like a motherfucker, every step is pure agony. No one gives me a special place to park up by the door. I hobble in just like everyone else from the closest space I can find. What is patheitc is that you are on here bragging about doing your "duty" as a volunteer meter maid. You really should stick to photography, you're much better at it than public service. |
Quote:
Firstly, its not a "volunteer" position. Its a well-paid, 40-hr./week full-time job. Secondly - I don't do it because I enjoy it...its a second job that helps pay the bills. Third, if you were to apply for a temp. handicap permit, I'm sure you'd be granted one. Fourth - I don't write the fucking laws...I'm simply paid to enforce them, like thousands of other bylaw enforcement officers across North America. Cops don't do it since they're already kept busy handling all their other workload. Do you think city streets would still continue to function efficiently without enforcement of bylaws. Ever seen what happens in the winter time when a snowplow can't go up and down a street because so many cars are parked along it? Or the street-sweeping machines? Or the water and sewage maintenance vehicles? What if your house was on fire...your family was trapped, and fire crews and ambulance couldn't get to your place because people had illegally parked their cars and blocked the emergency routes and fire hydrants? What would tourists to your city think when they're caught in traffic gridlock because cars are stopped and parked wherever they feel like it? How about that oversized vehicle parked only a few feet from a stop sign, completely obscuring it - and someone runs the stop sign and T-bones a family of four traveling in the other direction? Let's say you own a furniture store and cars are constantly parked in your restricted loading zone...and you can't get the delivery truck loaded or unloaded. What happens when company employees opt to avoid paid parking lots and instead park at short-term meters in front of retail businesses, restaurants, stores, etc.? Where do the customers park? Who takes care of that annoying neighbour with the dog who barks all night long? Or the neighbour down the street who leaves his unplated, rust-bucket car with the flat tire at the curb for months at a time? They don't dream up by-laws on a whim and a lark. They're put in place for various reasons. And gone are the days when people generally took it upon themselves to do the right thing and obey them voluntarily. These days everyone's in a rush for a time-saving shortcut...often at the expense of others. They don't consider the consequences and only think of themselves and their needs. So hate all you want. It only demonstrates your self-centred arrogance and lack of consideration for others. |
Quote:
But it is yet another waste of taxpayer money. Yes, I do think the city streets would continue to function without enforcement of traffic laws. Businesses should be responsible for providing customers a parking lot, not the city. Any private property owner can have unwanted cars towed anytime he likes. The guy who leaves his rustbucket car in his driveway has every right to do so. Its his property and if the neighbors are really bothered by it that much they should put thier house up for sale and move. The curb (not private property) is another story. We have courts and civil lawsuits to deal with traffic accidents caused by the negligence of a third party. My family would never be trapped in a house fire. We have planned evecauation routes and there is at least two exits from every room. One being a window, the other being a door. None the less, this is a unreasonable comparison. People do not park where they block traffic because they dont want thier car hit. They will, however, park somewhere that someone who thinks they are ubber important wont like. As for you not writing the laws and just getting paid to enforce them, well, thats the same excuse thats been used to justify every act of tyranny, oppression, unconsititutional act and judical misconduct in this history of this two bit, good for nothin, aint worth a shit country. |
