Yes, Viagra is a nice immediate short-term solution. I don't know as you want to be taking it time after time for months and years on end though, I'm not sure what the long-term effects of that might be on you but I wouldn't chance it.

My solution: Ginseng. It's natural, extracted from a root, and it's good for you.

Go to a grocer or health food store and find a decent quality batch of ginseng tabs. Siberian is always good, or a mix of Siberian and Chinese. Start taking 3 a day, one about every 8 hours, then over the course of the first month reduce it to 1-2 a day, then 1 a day ongoing.

I kid you not, it will rev your engine like nothing else, it's healthy, it has other great added benefits, and once you've been taking it a while you'll never have "the problem" ever again.

And yes, it worked for me. I'm 43 now, but back in my very late 20's and early 30's I too struggled with the problem. For me it was after I'd been drinking heavily, I'd get with a girl and.... uh-oh.... whiskey dink. It got so that about 3 out of every 5 times I'd be, well, inhibited. Once I found ginseng the problem went away though and has never returned.

Viagra works great (or so I've heard, never taken any) but what the producers of it aren't saying is that it IS the short-term fix. Ginseng is long-term, and it's health benefits speak for themselves.

I'll pass it onto my uh..friend who might have this problem occasionally especially after drinking.

Not everybody, and not so frequently as I was talking about. I'd say it's pretty normal to get that once in a while, but when it starts happening even when you haven't had a drink it's time to start treating it as a problem.

Of what? Are you speaking of Viagra or ginseng?

As I said, with Viagra there are likely some side effects (I don't know what they might be, please share if anyone knows), but with ginseng there are other healthy benefits, not side effects. In fact, so far everyone I've put wise to ginseng has ultimately raved about it and thanked me for suggesting it. Not just guys either, women too.

I have yet to hear of anyone having an allergic reaction to ginseng, or any negative reaction at all for that matter.

ok, well i took ur advice and walked a few blocks to Viatminshoppe and bought their brand, its called Eleuthero Siberian Ginseng. 100 capsules for $7. Ill give it a shot and see how it goes...
