Anything made by Williams Rocks, no so fond of Bally ones which they are many more of..

Depends on the machine and its intricity really... I wouldnt get one that has all those goofy parts and wierdness going on..

But if any machine, I'd Find a old 8 ball deluxe in mint condition
can't go wrong there, true pinball, awesome game... and probably
the best one ever made.

Best ever pinball machine is Star Trek: TNG. I'd buy that one in a heartbeat if I found one in good condition.

I want to get one. haven't played one in years. It's as if they don't exist anymore. I like it better than video games because every game is different.
I have a friend that has one. Literally no maintenance is required.

I own a few pinball machines, used to have a lot more before my gameroom got shut down (fucking pigs kept hitting the joint because they claimed it was a haven for weed ). Anyways, my favorite one I own now is eight ball deluxe, this classic beauty right here:

My machine isn?t quite as good looking as this one? needs a bit of fixing up. It was one of the first talking pinball machines, I got mine for $250.00 from somebody who didn?t know shit about electronics (thankfully!) and thought it was buggered for good. I have it working now electronically, I just need to restore her a bit to make her look smooth.

We have an air hockey table and a Atari Hydra video game in our "Man Cave". The next things we want are an electronic dart board and a pinball machine.

I used to play that one a lot when I was a student, very nice one, I also liked the twilight zone and theater of magic.

The best pinball machine is from Williams and is called Medieval Madness, it was one of the last machines they made, it's also the most expensive one, 5 to 7 K for a machine.

A good pinball machine costs around 3000 $ in the states, they are way more cheap here in Europe. I might get one myself but they are hard to maintain in good clean shape, parts are very expensive (300$ for a plastic ramp) and if you have to pay a guy each time something is broken it's going to cost you a lot of money.

I have a dedicated arcade cabinet, they are also great to have and you can get parts at decent prices if something needs replacement.

If you want a new machine, stern seems to be the best around.

When you buy a machine today and keep it in good order it will only increase in value over the years, 20 years from now you will be owning a very pricy jukebox.

had many restored them even older mechanical ones

Prices are lower here never got that why a US machine imported is like half the price of what they ask in the US.

1500 buys a nice one here a dot matrix

We have two and a table top packman,
I worked in high tech as an equipment tech you damn near need a degree to keep em running.
If you get an old one with point contacts etc real easy but the early SMT (surface mount technology) board stuff is almost imposible to fix.
I paid 300.00 for the old one and 700 for the digital.
hope that helps.

At the LionDollars office Ben & Phil spoiled us with a pool table, 2 XBox 360's and plasma screens, a Fugeball table and the Star War pinball machine (which I am seemingly the only one who plays - sign of a misspent youth).

Oh, and we have a REAL coffee machine.

Now if only I could work out more than a short black.....

Thank God for Anthony !!!

;-)
