This is what I am wondering. Are there many people (say, under 30) who can't name even one Beatle?

John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr.

I am 39 but I also have music from Blues Artists from almost a hundred years ago like Robert Johnson, Bessie Smith etc. Music is timeless and listening to only music from one generation and not looking at it's origins, is missing out.

they became famous when they were living and working in Hamburg, Germany. My hometown.

The "Star Club" does not exist anymore, but prior to that they played at the "Kaiserkeller" which still exists.

John Lennon used to always class Stuart Sutcliffe was the fifth Beatle and Stuart is featured on some Beatles tracks playing the bass. Stuart was also the one who thought up the name.
