I'm quite sure QB can pay that number, no problem, for the right person.

I agree. 6 figures is fair for more than a few employees.

RRRED 06-30-2006 11:40 AM

I dunno about working under Wiseman and his flying chairs!! hahaha

Good luck finding someone. I know you guys would be totally easy to work for and there's alot of ground out there to cover with the Quickbuck sites. Great growth opportunity and stability for sure! :thumbsup

50 sales a day is nothing! All you need is contacts contacts CONTACTS.

So you're in for 10K a year?
Cool, I need someone to submit galleries and post to blogs full time. For $200/wk you're hired. :thumbsup

How much of that do you think the affiliate rep deserves?

I would pay them 100k and take a loss of 10k

you're assuming that 0 of the 1500 members a month recur

if an affiliate rep was able to bring in so many affiliates to bring 50sales/day then i wouldn't mind taking a loss for a while... cause 1500 members a month will add up to a massive amount of recurring members, assuming you have your members area down right

disclaimer: i couldn't afford to pay anyone 100 dollars a century let alone 100k/year and this post is just my opinion on the matter... plus it's making for an interesting discussion :thumbsup

You're totally not following the math in this equation.
When I said if they're really good they're making $5-10 profit per member...I didn't mean per member per month....I meant TOTAL.
For the life of the member including all recurring billings, upsales, exit console sales, and future sales from mailings....if they're really good they're making $5-10 per member over and above what they're paying the affiliates.
Out of that $5-10 profit you have to deduct content, hosting, programming, advertising, parties at conventions, exhibiting at conventions, salaries for all of your employees, office rent, insurance etc etc etc etc.

So again, if you're paying 100K a year to a rep whose accounts bring in a total of 50 joins per day you're going to go bankrupt in a hurry.
Hooper said in another thread you could make "good money" if you brought in 50 joins a day. I'm sure to make the 100K a year you would need to bring in ALOT more than that.

Manowar 07-01-2006 11:27 AM

bump for you

You're telling me that for example if KarupsPC was paying PPS, they would only make 5-10 dollars proffit for the life of the member including upsells/exits/future mailings/etc etc etc?? I don't buy it.

and lets leave those other costs like throwing parties and etc etc out of it and assume the rep could bring in 50 sales/day without having to throw parties..

OG LennyT 07-01-2006 11:58 AM

sounds like a great opportunity!

Karups doesn't have trials, so hard to compare a program like that with sites that have 3 day $1.00 trials

textpimp 07-05-2006 01:17 AM

so did a rep get hired??

basschick 07-05-2006 01:27 AM

one should be able to make $50,000 or more a year referring webmasters who send that many sales to any program offering 10% webmaster referrals without being a rep.

this definitely sounds like a good offer, but it's not a situation that most reps would be able to live up to.

Quick Buck 07-05-2006 10:47 AM

we're not looking for "most reps", we are looking for a killer attackdog who has all the right connections :)

We've gotten a ton of emails about this position and are reviewing and discussing every one of them.

Thanks
