1986. Exactly 12 years after you went for the last time at a WC tournament.

Now, don't get cocky, you should be pleased with your team's performance.
After 32 years you barely managed to qualify, at penalty kicks.

Keep your cockyness for rugby. After all, you understand that sport better.

Australia will quality for future world cups without a problem as they've been moved into the oceania region for qualifying.

Seen that picture from the other angle? The one where it shows him standing on the guy's arm?

My feelings on the matter are that Australia should never have dominated the game as much as they did in the first place 'cause Italy should never have been down to 10 men. When Italy had the ball in the box, they looked a lot more dangerous than Australia ever did. So, who knows how the game would have turned out with a different Ref. Italy were hard done by with the red card and Australia were hard done by from an idiotic penalty decision.

Listen...that gif is real and NO i did not add that in.This is one of the best calls i have ever seen in the world cup.The ref was standing 5-6 feet away and did not miss it.Big Big mistake for Neill. You should NEVER slide tackle anyone in the box.90% of the time the ref will call a PK on plays like that.

I have nothing against the Aussies and i think they did really well in the WC,however i just get tired of all the fucking stereo type and racist remarks against italy.yeah were cheaters divers theatricals etc etc and the media just luvs to crucify us.What about that viscious headbut from Figo? oh we forgot about that or i guess that just wont make the headlines. Its amazing how the critics like to bash the Italian NT..its never ending,i have been supporting Italy NT for 25 years and its alwys the same fucking shit every year from these delusional critics.I guess our 3 WC winis and many many appearences in the semis - finals is not good enough.
Hopefully if we have a shot at the world cup this year we could finally shut these fuckers up.

Seriously though bogo you do realise that like 2 minutes before that decision (I think literally the play before) Italy may of handballed it in the box?

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article...240382,00.html

90mins: Bresciano chips in for Viduka who tries the acrobatic bicycle kick and misses it by a mile. His bicycle obviously has a puncture. However, the attempt puts off Zambrotta who sees the ball rear up off his chest and onto his arm. The Aussie appeals fall on deaf ears. Seconds later, Zambrotta is booked for kicking the ball away at a free-kick.

I am trying to find video of it, if anyone has it let me know. I watched it the other day and it was a handball I believe. Personally I doubt they would of scored on that attempt, but it certainly could of and perhaps should of been a penalty to the Aussie's there and than. The 50/50 calls could of gone either way. They need a video ref.

They are always throwing themselves around. Most Italian football players are a bunch of pathetic long haired faggots, who would sell their Albanian mother for a free kick.

My bad. Aussies were the WC's pleasant surprise, no doubt about that. England is doing fine, they will be in the semifinals.

They were always in Oceania region and they won it almost always, duh.
The change is that they will meet Asia's representant for the qualifying instead of the 5th South American team.
