Ok.. so this diet is unsafe as a long term diet.. but 90% of people who want to try a reduced carb diet without doing anything dangerous or extreme will find that they lose a reasonable amount of weight just by dropping sugar water, candy and sweet deserts from their diet.
Also, stop eating when you feel satisfied, eat slower (so you know when you're full.. try conversation over dinner), and stuff yourself with vegetables when you're not eating a meal. Baby carrots are fun, and they increase your metab. If that doesn't work for you, heroin is much better than cocaine. Coke causes overeating when you're not on it. And for god sake, get your insulin levels under control. Go get checked for diabetes before your fat ass is dead, or worse, blind and still alive. |
That diet sounds like a task in itself fallowing that routine

you could lose 20 lbs in 2 weeks on that diet ONLY if you were VERY overweight to begin with...like minimum 300 lbs.
normal BMI people would not lose that much. weight loss is mostly physics. your maintenance caloric burn is based mostly on your existing weight and % body fat. you need a deficit of 3500 calories to lose one pound. this diet is maybe 1400-1500 cal/day. a girl weighing 100 pounds might even gain weight on this diet. true, if you are very FAT you could lose the weight. there are healthier ways to do it, that will actually work long-term. fast weight loss will not stay off. if you want to lose weight and KEEP it off this requires a LIFESTYLE change, not a fad diet. |
Anything more than 3-5 pounds in a week is not going to be just fat loss.
My metabolism is so slow I can gain weight just thinking about food:1orglaugh As a result I have pretty much "dieted" my entire adult life, but rather than going on any sort of diet I just bulk up on veggies and other lo-cal/lo-fat foods when I need to pull back a few pounds. The real trick is that any diet is doomed to fail if you perpetually deny your cravings. You either need to work in occasional favorite fattening foods or find substitutes that fill the cravings. In the first months after Katrina my friend and I ate "comfort food" constantly and as a result I packed on about an extra 20 pounds. We both went on a diet about 4 months ago and this time I jumpstarted by taking a high-potency multi-vitamin and a Lipodrene daily. The Lipodrene keeps me from snacking during the day then I eat a reasonable portion of what I want to in the evening. As a result, the pants that fit me when I started will fall off if I take 2 steps in them now:thumbsup |
