a/v equipment questions
Does anyone know a good audio/video / home theater forum when I can ask some questions about equipment and proper set-up etc and receive sound advice?
Cheers ...

did you try google? Anyway, I would highly recommend a Denon AVR-5805 http://ca.denon.com/ProductDetails/226.asp - Home theatre receiver.

I'm basically looking to add components as I go along (knowing what components I need already) but prewiring it right now because I need to get a carpenter in to put up my TV. The TV is going to be on a wall in my livingroom and there is a room on the other side of the wall where I will have all the other a/v components. Seeing is how I am going to be buying the components as I go along, prewiring is becoming essential to my master plan. As it stands, I have the following: * Samsung LE46M * Xbox 360 I am looking to buy the following within the course of the year * Sky HD (HighDef Satellite TV service) * Denon DVD-1920 * Yamaha YSP-1000 * Trilogy 1 (Multi Scart Control) * CHDMI-61 (6 in - 1out HDMI) I am getting the Yamaha YSP-1000 because I really do not want to suffer wiring and in addition, the set-up is being done in a room I feel is too small for a larger surround sound option. I am unsure if I should get a subwoofer and surround amplifier figured into my options above. What cables and should I prewire to get all the components easily plugged in as I buy them and are there any particular brands of leads and scarts, etc. that will give me better quality over stock stuff? Thanks for you time and any suggestions.
