Ultradesign.net Ultradesign.com
This is a serious conflict of interest. How can the owner of a hosting and email services company go around shutting down and harassing other hosting and email services companies? This is not only a Conflict of Interest it is also Anti-trust and unfair trade practices. This one stinks Steve. your selling Managed
Email Services and slamming your competition all over the world. very naughty.

So I guess no one can file a lawsuit against this company either?
now you can give Steve Linford a call at Ultradesign

well, yes and no... i have no issues with spamhaus or with providing blocking services. what i do have an issue with is the way spamhaus and others go about it. i have twice had mail blocking issues because of a spammer on the same ip space. my thoughts have always been block the mailing ip and if the host moves the client around to avoid blocking, then block the hosts entire ip space until they terminate the spammer. blocking ip ranges hurts too many other non mail clients, especially in the cases where a host doesnt have a reputation for hosting spammers...

So if the host is a partner with spammers, take WebAir as an example, and they ignore all abuse complaints, and additionally move the spammer around to different IP spaces, then the complicit host and their spamming partners should be given a "free pass", and the "innnocent" webmasters caught in the middle should be mad at Spamhaus?

It would seem to me that the host and spammers are fucking over the legit webmaster for $$$.... not the other way around.

i think you missed something here... i said that if the host moves a spammer around then they get their entire ip space blocked until they remove the spammers... if the host doesnt get the message, then i as a non spamming customer will leave.... i would blame the host for that and not spamhaus...
