Which web browser do you use and why?

I personally use Opera, Firefox, and Internet Explorer.. in that order.

Almost everything I use is through Opera for the security measures and it's super user friendly and even customizable just as FireFox, however some sites are not Opera friendly hence using FireFox.

I very rarely used Internet Explorer because of all the bugs and hacks in it and it's too easy to get bugs on your computer through Internet Explorer. way too many bugs on Internet Explorer.. especially when visiting questionable websites.

and just for good measures... here's a real life photo of a FireFox!

I use firefox just because I like it. However I use opera, netscape, and IE to check designs.

Safari is my default browser, so all links and what not are opened in Safari. However, all my bookmarks are in FF and I use FF for most of my browsing. I only open IE to test a design in it.

I use firefox because of its security, easier to use and it being more stable of a browser. I use IE to check designs.

I think its also because I dont like Microsoft and support new products.

Firefox because its the only real web browser out right now. I have IE installed to get updates and for nothing else. If a site wont open in Firefox, its not a site worth visiting.

I use IE and never get bugs. If you use a firewall, anti-spayware and anti-virus you're not going have many problems.

Why would you visit a "questionable" website anyways? Would you fuck a girl that you thought was "questionable" she had a STD?

I've downloaded Opera 9 and have used it just a bit. So far I find much like FF it loads pages too slow. Though it's bit faster than FF. There's no Google toolbar for Opera. Haven't used it enough to really judge anything. The Google toolbar for FF lacks certain features. I really don't care for FF, resource hog and loads slow. Maybe FF 2.0 will be better but it's in early beta, so I haven't downloaded it yet.

By the way I have all 3 browsers open to this thread here are the results

IE 7 beta 2- 25K mem usage
Opera 9 - 34K
FF 1.5 - 39K

So you use something called Ad block? How would you feel if everyone used firefox and used adblock? How would your income be? To be honest if you are getting FREE access to a website then it wouldn't hurt you to put up with a few ads. Shit liek adblock is going to make websites become all pay. Who in the fuck is going to spend time and money on a website and not be able to generate ad revenue because people are using something called "ad block"

Um if you get access to a site for FREE putting up with some ads should be an issue. What if Lensman decide to get rid of ads and charged $100 a year to be a member here? Would you still come here? Probally not. Webmasterworld used to be free, now they charge $149 a year to read and post on their boards. Of coruse there are no ads, but I'm not paying $149 just to read some webmaster board. Is that the kind of internet you want?
