Returned Checks for memberships...
What do you do to prevent returned checks for membership sales? Do you know of a way to minimize the number of returns, or recommend a way of reporting them to ChexSystems etc...?

Bad checks are a part of the Internet. Its best to just factor in a % each month that you know will be bad checks.
