I had the same trouble with many modules on freeBSD but am gonna be little help I'm afraid. I overcame nearly all problems but buggered if I can remember how now.

Have you got webmin installed?

i've installed it on linux before. is this the free copy of it? i believe it's only a line addition to your php.ini and make sure the compiled file is in the right location.. and restart apache..

How far are you getting in the install?

What version of apache are you running?

Are you on a dedicated server, or virtual account?

Do you have root access?

What version of zend are you installing?

What is the error behavior?

I am the admin the server is right here next to me...I got root.

I get to where the Zend GUI asks for the path to php.ini I give it the path as phpinfo() tells me and it say's nope, wrong, your a moron...in so many words...


I'm running apach 1.3.22, php 4.2.1, on a freeBSD box

and Zend Optimizer 1.3.1 is the distribution that's cornholing me...

I give up it will not install if anyone wants to make some cash I will pay to have it installed...


It will now not recognize http.conf...

And we can't find any source code to compile it ourselves...
