Mac Laptops...
Hey...

finally decided to purchase a mac laptop and wanted to know if it is worth it to spend the extra $1k and get the mac bookpro over the mac book....

any1 with useful knowledge on this topic, please enlighten me...

macbook pro vs. macbook depends on how much graphics processing power you need. If you are dealing with raw image files, you need the pro.

The main issue is to get enough HD space so you can dual boot XP. If you are worried about money you could get the Macbook with a larger HD option.

Also the 512K RAM Apple ships everything with is not enough to run the machine with so you should consider upgrading that asap.
