Just to put some persepective on how fucked up management of the Kona Kai was, and also to get at least a small grasp of what Jay, Fay and Dave had to deal with, I thought it would be interesting to reprint the rules in full, and without alteration, that were given to each attendee by the hotel on check in.

From a personal perspective, there was only one of he rules I did not break (you work out which one) and there were NO rules in respect to cross-dressing

Attention Cybernet Expo Attendee:

In the pursuit of a successful Cybernet Expo event, we request that you read this notice in its entirety.

Please be advised that Cybernet Expo is a professional business event, and we expect all attendees to behave themselves in accordance with the laws of the State of California and the rules of the hotels and various venues that host Cybernet Expo related events. Throughout this event you will be observed not only by your professional peers, but also by members of the hotel staff and possibly by members of the general public.

San Diego city law enforcement officials can and almost certainly will be present during Cybernet Expo seminars, on the hotel grounds, and at various after hours parties and events, whether in a visible or undercover fashion. In addition, the owners of the various venues that host Cybernet Expo events, such as the owners of the Kona Kai Resort, are well within their rights to hire private security to monitor Cybernet Expo events to ensure that attendees do not place their companies at risk through unprofessional or illegal behavior. Cybernet Expo has also hired private security. Please be advised that should you break any California State laws, you will be asked to leave, and you are subject to local authorities' jurisdiction.

In order to ensure that this event is successful for everyone involved, please consider the following common sense rules:

1) Do not attempt to help anyone under the age of 21 gain access to Cybernet Expo seminars, events or sponsored parties. Do not attempt to help anyone under the age of 21 gain access to alcohol. This is VERY important. Anyone who does not have a Cybernet Expo badge/wristband is subject to immediate ejection from the event. The hotel has been advised that anyone who does not have a Cybernet Expo badge and a wrist band should not be served alcohol at any Cybernet Expo event. Additionally, the hotel is free to request ID at any time before serving alcohol to any attendee.

2) Public nudity or lewd public conduct will not be tolerated at Cybernet Expo. Even though this is a private adult industry event, attendees are not above the law. Attendees must not violate any California State laws regarding public nudity or lewd behavior. Even brief public flashing may result in your arrest or expulsion from the event, so please let's keep this event professional at all times.

3) The destruction of property that is not your own will not be allowed and can result in your immediate arrest. Urination or defecation in public is obviously forbidden.

4) If you drink alcoholic beverages, then drink responsibly. Enough said.

5) Please do NOT leave any sexually explicit marketing materials lying around in public places. Care should also be taken when using laptop computers to display explicit content.

We respectfully ask for your cooperation in heeding the above rules. Cybernet Expo hopes that all attendees have a fun and productive time at the seminars and sponsored events. We thank you for attending this year's show, and fully expect that your attendance will prove to be productive for your business.

Thank god i went to antigua instead of this. i would be the most mad pissed off person in the world right now and on location.

that hotel bent them over, took the money, and controlled you all like inmates.

there is no nice way to put it.

i hope that CNE can get some sort of restitution in court.
