Any Overture users here? Why the fuck are CTR's so low?
I put up and ad on Yahoo that is in the same place as it is on Google, yet the CTR is 10-15x lower. I don't get it. Are the habits of Yahoo users that much different? Makes no sense to me.

Because you are competing against the paid spots in the first three postitions in the results that look like real search results on Yahoo - instead of just competing with the other adwords spots on Google

I compete with them on Google too. But my CTR is still 15x higher. Higher listings in all of my experience, give higher CTRs. This ad is dead on targetted as well.
