I love getting a new computer and tweaking it out of this world, getting every ounce of power from it. It's very rewarding... kinda like the feeling you get when you shake out that last drop of piss after you pee.

is it possible to "split" a usb cable? i have my new computer and my old computer, but only one comcast modem cable. is there any simple way to get it hooked up to both comps?

Oh boy, I am a computer nut, and I love nothing more than getting a new computer.

I need a new one in the worst kind of way too, this one I am using has just about seen it's last days. With all the lightning we have had in the last couple of months, this one is about had it. The video card has been shot and replaced, the network area in it is just gone completely, and my hard drive is sounding like it may take flight at any given moment. LOL

No, not that easily. Easiest thing to do (and best for speeds/consideration) is to buy yourself a router. Hook modem through router, connect your computers to router. Job done.

I'm in the EXACT same postion just now aswell.

I have to leave it switched on at night too, but the noise is loud as hell. Will hopefully have a new one by this time next month...
