Stretch marks from working out...help?

So since i started working out a few months ago I got some stretch marks on my inner arms and i was wondering if anyone knows anything that will get rid of them, or atleast lighten them up so they're not so obvious!

there is a lot of dispute about this. stretch marks are basically scars from torn layers of skin. they tend to fade quite a bit naturally over time. you can't make stretch marks go away any more than you can make any other scar go away. many people will undoubtedly chime in about rubbing this, that and the other thing on them to help reduce their noticeability (usually women who have had children) and they swear up and down that it works...... but be aware that they fade no matter what, so i could tell you to smash yourself in the face with a hammer twice a day and it works and you would most likely see the same result as rubbing vitamin e on them... although it can't hurt to try the vitamin e if it makes you feel better.

I have some pretty red ones....and i'd like them to fade as quickly as possible! So if there was a way to lighten them up that would be awesome!

Is there any ways to help that happen faster? Maybe some cream or something?

i am sure plenty of people here will tell you yes. personally, i dont know if anything "might help" them to fade a bit faster. you would have more luck searching online or searching weight lifting forums. this question is asked all the time in bodybuilding and in bodybuilding its just something that is accepted.

i am sure there are tons of female hippy types here who all have some misguided idea of a new age bs remedy that doesn't do jack shit other than make some dubious supplement company money when you buy it. keep bumping it and they will be telling you what tree bark to grind into a powder, mix with pig vomit and rub on your genitals in no time!

but seriously...at the end of the day, its torn skin and there will be a scar. some believe that vitamin e, retinol and creams with those things in them may help. i used to put bear fat in cuts all the time when i was younger and they healed extremely fast (presumably because of the fat soluable vitamins in the fat being easily absorbed by my own). anything is possible. but this is an area where real proof is lacking and the only claims you are going to see are manufacturers claims which will not be supported by credible studies.

You should contact a dermatologist, although some of the photographers can probably tell you what makeup to cover them with.
