How to tell yahoo, aol, ur email is not spam?

How would this work?
would i have to email them stating what my company does and where i get my emails from?

I can provide the data for the opt-in.
I have noticed that my emails goes in the trash, but it shouldnt because they are all user opt-in

thoughts?

those types of services aren't protecting from spam necessarily as much as they are protecting their users from random people trying to sell them shit....so, it would be useless trying to get them to lift any kind of filter just for you

Have them add you to their contacts list or once they receive one of your emails they need to mark it as not spam... Best way to do it is have a double opt-in list (double seems to be the standard) that tells the users to add the sending email to their contacts list and send a test email after email verification.

Edit: But if you got the list from a 3rd party then thats another issue entirely.

he is asking how he can contact aol or yahoo directly to get him removed off their spam filter, not how users can recieve his email out of the filtered bin

Oh, sorry I misunderstood. Thanks for clarifying. In which case I haven't a clue.

im not asking for a lift as oppose to being getting directly into my mailbox

for example: ive added ALOT of people from myspace, and all their emails get into my mailbox. i get over 50 a day from myspace alone.

Exactly what I thought he was asking...it's called getting whitelisted and from what I understand it takes a little paperwork and a bit of money dependant on which ISP you're dealing with.

It's doable but wouldn't worry with it unless I had a very large legit list that was making me insane dollars.

trust me it is not that easy and it is an ongoing process. Each one of them has a set of standards. you need to implement them and make sure you never break them.

there is a whitelist service that aol and a few others use, that actas as a complaint bank.. every complaint well your deposit gets deducted, and its very pricey. look around you'll find it.

Have you try emailing the webmaster of yahoo and explain it to them.

You can use this form for yahoo. Just list the issue as your mail is going to the yahoo bulk mail box. http://add.yahoo.com/fast/help/us/mail/cgi_defer

For AOL use this form to get white listed: http://postmaster.aol.com/cgi-bin/whitelist_request.pl
