Hoes.com Sponsor Stats For May 2006

Hello all,

A couple of new sponsors make the list and I continue to be impressed with Wildcash. Details inside.

I hope all is well. Looking forward to meeting up with the SoCal webmasters when I move to San Diego in a few months. I'm fired up to say the least.

marc

------------------------------------------------------
Hoes.com Sponsor Stats For May:
http://www.hoes.com/sponsors/
------------------------------------------------------

Here is what this is all about for those of you who haven't seen our thread before:

Because we advertise so many sites across so many niches using so many sponsors, the many webmasters who submit to us daily tend to ask who we recommend for reliability and conversion success.

Instead of just posting links to a few of our favorites, we decided to compile our stats from month to month and post them for all to see. Basically, we offer a ranking of the top 20 or so sponsors that converted for us during the month.

We update this every month and hope that it helps a few of you to make an educated decision about which sponsors to advertise.

i dont get something. how come you dont rank by money instead of ratio?

isnt it more important how much you make moreso than how good it converts?

im happy being #15 or #14 out of 25 either way..

just curious

That's a good question actually. I don't mind listing everyone by "money made"... that would kill the question of "who counts hits what way?".

Anyone else think it would be a good idea to rank by "money made" from now on?

EpicCash would be #15 with that method.

You've made me think, thanks for that!

marc

The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of starting to rank sponsors by the amount of money they brought in. It's a fact that those that make the most money are obviously those that I focus alot of time and effort on. Knowing that, you know they are good sponsors.

I'll try it next month and see what everyone thinks.

If you rank by "the amount of money they brought in"
How will the traffic rank come into play? Obviously whomever you send the most traffic will bring in the most money.

Or do you mean the highest "money per click" sponsor with the lowest ratio will be first?

Either way congrats and thanks for the traffic!

Cheers,
BV

Good info.

Do you use firefox?

Check your "Hardcore Movies Of Real People At Home" link in firefox. I get 2 videos. 1 trying to appear in the left top corner. In IE it looks ok. It think it's plugin problem.

Yes, I can understand your concern seeing as how you convert nicely but don't receive much traffic since you cater to one niche. I need to think about expanding my stats to possibly include two tables. Ugh... more work!

Exactly

Leave it like it is

or if you feel like changing the format, rank by income per click. (something meaningful)

Ranking by overall income earned would only show which sponsors received the most traffic and really has nothing to do with how well they converted based on ratios and income versus clicks.

Pimpdog's is a clever mofo but in this instance his idea sucks!

you are crazy.

how is that have anything todo with what sponsor is making him the most money?

who cares if you send 1 click and get 1 sale and made 50 bucks?

vs 10k clicks and made 30 sales and made 49 bucks.

are you working your ass off for clicks or for cash?

im doing this for cash and i want to know who is making who the most money. bottom line.

at the end of the day, $$$ is why we are ALL here.

i agree with this post
that's why i said if anything, he should switch to ranking by revenue per click.

The biggest earner does not necessarily mean the best.

Let's use yours and my stats for example.

By the current stats:

Epic Cash is ranked #14 with a conv. ratio of 1:1231 and averaging $0.02. a click.

BVCash is ranked #3 with a conv. ratio of 1:719 and averaging $0.02 a click.

I convert almost twice as good as you but you make him twice or more per sale. I get all that. Pretty equal from a moneymaking standpoint.

Now lets look at:

#20 Traffic Cash Gold at 1:1568 making Marc the same $0.02 per click as you and I.
However if you look at his traffic rank of 1, this means Marc is sending way more traffic to TCG, which will result in a bigger check from TCG than from Epic.
Clearly you are making Marc more money per click but Marc is still sending more traffic to TCG and by your new proposed ranking system would rank TCG much higher than you.

See what I mean?

See what I mean?
yea i see your point.. he should just make 2 systems and send me all his traffic anyways since i make him more if he sent more

Actually I am mistaken, TCG is also making 2 cents a click. (however it would be interesting to see the fractions.)

But I'm glad you see my point anyways.

There is a neat little javascript code that will make the column titles clickable, in turn re-sorting the ranks to fit which column you click. Either by $/unique, ratio, previous rankings etc.

I am sure you can find the code somewhere, or have someone throw one together for you.

I first noticed it @ GG&J in the sponsors section. Can list sponsors by niche, revshare/per-clisk/per-signup etc.

Would be useful, still setting up only one page and covering every possible way of ranking.

It's been a fun ride so far. Hopefully things will stay solid for a long time. Damn, what am I going to do with all those bonus points ;-)

Yes, it's the join ratio. Uniques per join.

Not sure why their ratio is so low... they are only getting filtered "boob" traffic.
