Can anyone do better than CCBill?

I have been researching this for 2 solid weeks now and I have finally chosen a processor that pays weekly, both to me and my affiliates. Takes care of web900, cheque, and credit card billings. Handles customer support and has a good partnership program stats area. (MUCH better than IBill).

This is a last call to any other CC Processor out there to show me your stuff.

Can you do better than CCBill?

While I'm at it, I have some questions for CCBill (or any other processor for that matter) that I have come up with in the past couple of days.

1. Does a webmaster have to signup again if I decide to add another paysite to my webmaster program, or can he just adjust his linking codes to accomodate it easily?

2. Can webmasters promoting my paysite choose what page of the tour the visitor goes to by adjusting the link code?

3. Do you offer webmaster referrals so affiliates can get 5% or 10% of the webmasters they refer?

4. Do you have password theft prevention software? If not, does pennywise work well with your system?

5. If I have 2 paysites that I want to offer to someone for just signing up at one (makes it seem more appealing to join 2 for 1), can I do this easily?

There is an option in the partner program where you can set it up so that your partner program encompasses your main account and ALL of your subaccounts. The linking code does not need to change.

2. Can webmasters promoting my paysite choose what page of the tour the visitor goes to by adjusting the link code?

I believe that they would just need to edit the link to the page that they want. It should not affect the tracking. I had not come across this question yet and would like to confirm this first before i give you a definite answer. I will set a reminder to get back to you on this. Just to be sure.

3. Do you offer webmaster referrals so affiliates can get 5% or 10% of the webmasters they refer?

Yes, We do have that option, whatever % you want

4. Do you have password theft prevention software? If not, does pennywise work well with your system?

We do not, but many of our customers use Pennywize and other server based protection software

5. If I have 2 paysites that I want to offer to someone for just signing up at one (makes it seem more appealing to join 2 for 1), can I do this easily?

Yes, easiest thing to do is to have the sites on the same server and have both sites authenticated by the same password file[/B]

Thats about it for me, i am out for the weekend...

Thanks for you quick reply.

Seems weird that only CCbill has replied so far. I plan on doing thousands of $$ in business, and nobody else has said anything.

Weird.

Yeah, but you have to be optimistic. And it just surprises me that I don't have 5 different processor companies barking at me to get my business.

1) Use more then one processor by splitting your dollars to atleast 2 if not 3 processors.
2) avoid epoch at all costs

For the record, we don't do Web900 -- everything else, yes.

Sorry to disappoint you Pipecrew, but companies aren't built on having a couple 50k a month customers.

CCBill was built on, and will continue to provide the best service we can, to small webmasters looking for a long term solution to maximize their income from their paysites or other subscription based services.

I've been around this business a long time and I've seen a good number of nobodies turn into somebodies, some of whom I never would have believed could make 50k total in their time here.

Having a back up processor is a good idea, no one is going to approve every charge, and while our scrub decline rate is around 10% companywide or so, we still miss some good cards here and there. No way to get them all or weed out all the bad.

I'm not a newbie I've been around for a few years and this is my first paysite. I have to make sure it's the right one, in the other threads they never discussed the questions I have asked here.

Again, don't assume you know me. I live in Ontario too you know.

Honestly, it's not a life or death decision :-) If you choose a company that you are not happy with, then you can always change your mind and go with a new company for your signups from that point on. I personally use both CCBill and iBill. CCBill has far superior customer service, IMO.

I remember my first convention two years ago in Vegas - No one knew who I was, and no one really cared. Two years later I'm making money hand over fist, and people are beating down the door to work for me.

I don't like to hold grudges and I'll never mention names, but I haven't forgotten the people who blew me off two years ago and wouldn't give me the time of day.

CCBill was one of our supporters then, and they gave us a lot of help and support through out the past two years. CCBill has been an important part of our success.

That pretty much sums it up. You never know who's going to make it, so you'd best be nice to people. I can remember when a guy named Marc De talked about running a program that would be the biggest. Of course that was when ARS was doing about 20 signups a day...
