it seems to be average speed for a site that uses AJAX, what's different about this?

when we loaded all the tables and stuff for the shopping cart the page was huge and now it's 40k so it's different in that it solved a problem and I am looking to see if it is true in your browser. we'll take average on this one over crashes your browser

i'm glad michael can do this because ajax people are $95 per hour and it seems a little more of a design situation to me. more power to the ajax coders but i am glad michael has it down. he is the shining star of this operation here

Whoa, there are seriously people that consider themselves "ajax coders"? Crazy...the technology behind "AJAX" has been around 5 years and isn't really complicated to implement, stuff anyone that calls themselves a "web developer" should know.

you are not kidding! i have a friend in the staffing business and they are all hunting for ajax "coder's". i thought it was part of general design but now it's a specialty niche. go figure-
