Agreed. I don't think anyone here is sticking up for thieves.

Agreed. Syndication can help everyone, you can't help the bad seeds.

No. I posted to show how many stories have been written about RSS STEALING. I'm sure not every single LINK is about that.

I'm not going to link to every damn story about RSS stealing if you can't find them then you are in fact the dumb ass. CLOSE your eyes to the fact that many webmasters are abusing "software" like this.

Eh, if you're too lazy, I'll accept that.

There might have been a time I didn't have ABP in my sig -- I don't remember. I already made a sale off of THIS thread, and off of the last one, I was rolling in the dough. I love the bumps, as we discussed before.

Not quite.

The first link, in fact, only references "RSS" in the site navigation.

When you learn how to use the Intarweb, come on back.

I think the "dumb ass" is the guy who #1 can't use the intarweb, and #2 says that the 99% of users that use a piece of software for legitimate purposes are all "thieves" because someone once took something from his tiny little site.

But to each his own, I guess.

Thieves suck. I don't see anyone saying otherwise.

The fact is when used as intended ABP is a tool that does what it's supposed to, and does it well.

If you run a blog, and someone pulls it using ABP contact the site owner and ask that it's removed.

End of story.

I agree. If the site owner would have contacted me I would have let him use my feeds as long as they didnt change out the sponsor urls. Hell as long as they leave the posts in tact, I am more than willing to let others use the posts. But once you change it and take credit for yourself while they hotlink the images from the original blog. The blog owner deserves what he gets.

I like ABP and the guys behind it. This is nothing against them or their software.

I think you need to learn how to use the Internet. If you can't see from the second link and on then maybe a new pair of glasses will help you?

Absolutely. I agree to let ANYONE use my original content (and I write a shitload of it -- I wrote for Xbiz.com, Xbiz World, and a bunch of others) as long as they give a linkback. I'd be a moron not too. But to each his own.

Any content thieves out there should get what's coming to them -- I agree.

Learn to use the Intarweb! There's no use in continuing to cry -- you were obviously wrong, and it's already been said as much by anyone with half a brain -- except to keep bumping this post, which has already made a sale.

Hopefully, no one is planning on stealing using AutoBlogger Pro -- I am sure Chio doesn't condone that.

P.S.: He's gay. SO gay.

Stallion 05-23-2006 11:09 PM

Not gonna use it that way SPeRMiNaTor like the jackass that started this thread. I have several blogs myself as well as friends that have tons more. They have no problems with me using their posts as long as I give them credit and I will.

There's no money in this. Maybe like $5/year, but that's it.

Do something else, like TGP's.

I'm not kidding -- I'm dead serious. There is NO money in this. Don't try it.
