Discuss what's fucking going on, and which programs are best and worst. One-time "program" announcements from "established" webmasters are allowed. |

Should sponsors treat all Webmasters the Same?
This is something I have been thinking about. Should affiliate programs treat all webmasters the same? Should they bend over backwards for the people making them $1-5 profit a month or the people making them $1000s of profit a month? I saw one sponsor say they treat you the same whether you send them 1 sale a month or 1000 (and from the emails I have sent them, they seem to). I asked them a question, about if something was tracked in stats, they said it wasn't, and would I like them to add it to their system. I was like wtf, I haven't even sent you a sale and you are willing to add something to your stats b/c I want it. The other side of the view I read in an article about cj from sexhit. That also was very intersting. The url for that is: http://www.tgp2.com/sponsorsperspective.html
What are all of you guys opinions on this? I am very intersted. Peace, ZoiNk

Someone making me $5 this month could make me $5,000 next month. You figure it out...
From a webmasters perspective, we send out small traffic to test out programs. If it converts well, we'll send more traffic. If it doesn't, we might contact the affiliate manager about possible solutions and suggestions. If the affiliate manager treats me like shit, they won't be receiving my traffic. I can make money elsewhere... |

long as affiliate programs want to make money.. Little fishes bitch and moan like little babies, asking questions like "are we all treated the same..." who gives a fuck.. Just make sure you're not a small fish.. this decreases the chance of being fucked over and that's all that matters. |

Of course, they should! I operate like Sly...test out programs before I start sending 'em a lotta traffic. So far, I haven't experienced bein' treated lesser cuz I wasn't makin' them a shitload. But I have had sponsors that don't respond at all...then I usually dump 'em.

There is no reason to treat a webmaster bad, just because they don't bring in the big bucks.
Here is 3 reasons I can think of which explains why its bad to snub a webmaster cause they signup and havn't made much money yet. 1. The "little guy" is infact in control of 500,000+ daily uniques but he is just testing out the sponsor with a tiny bit of traffic. 2. The "little guy" is making jackshit, but in the next few months things fall into place and his traffic really takes off. Everyone starts out small, you don't know which ones become big players. 3. The "little guy" is treated bad & he tells a few people who decide not to use the sponsor as a result. |

4. The "little guy" gets pissed off and starts fucking your girlfriend, and your mom... at the same time!

you guys look at things in an odd way.
Of course little fish aren't treated the same as big fish but the little fish should never realize it. Why? Because you ALWAYS treat the little fish good. You just treat the big fish better. ![]()

12Clicks nailed it.
Personally, I see alot of my 'little fish' outperforming some of my largest affiliates with phone sex. You just never know! Always makes me wonder how the 'big fish' would do if they expended the same effort as some of the little guys. Brad
