What do you think of Webair?

I'm looking to go with a pretty big hosting package on a few servers and so far i think i'm leaning toward using webair.

Please post your experiences with them here (good or bad).

thanks!

this is the best thing about Webair - that Mike is around - shit happens but at least you know the guy who is ultimately responsible is there on the spot to take care of things.

Did your problem have anything to do with "Magg" and fibernexus or foundrynap?

Mine did, and mike came to the rescue

have dedicated boxes at webair for several years.

extremely good connectivity and uptime.

some of the techs are very good (brian h., sagi, ayumi, and a couple others)

Yeah, they scrub the mail a little too much, even my own ISP e-mail is blocked. I have to send e-mails to webair from my gmail account.

But besides the mail servers, I've had my box there for over 2 years and it's been A1.

Anyone who knows me, knows I'm a technical moron. I ask dumb questions and I don't get attitude and get real help. I'm also only a virtual hosted customer and they still give me outstanding support. Gonna need a dedicated server soon and they'll be my first phone call.
I have 2 other not so well known hosts, and they refused to help me with simalar issues that webair was only too happy to help me sort out. The result of that is I am now moving those domains to webair.

Agreed. Great hosting, fast support, nice features and good pricing, but their e-mail servers is definitely dodgy. I'd recommend WebAir any day, but stick with someone else for your primary e-mail.

I am happy with WebAir as well. Got a dedicated server with WebAir, nothing fancy, but it does all I want... and more. Their support is right on the money as well...
